22 AGREEMENT ON INTERNATIONAL COMBINED TRANSPORT BETWEEN THE GOVERNMENT OF THE SLOVAK REPUBLIC AND THE CABINET OF MINISTERS OF UKRAINE The Government of the Slovak Republic and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, (hereinafter referred to as Contracting Parties ), wishing to develop an international combined transport of goods between the two states, being aware that the international combined transport of goods is an important factor of international trade development, emphasizing the significant role of the international combined transport in improvement of the quality of transport services, in increasing the security of transport of goods and in reducing damages to the environment, being convinced that the establishment of legal regulations upon the matters of the development of combined transport and development of infrastructure on the basis of agreed international parameters and standards shall have a decisive influence on increasing the effectiveness of combined transport,
