Travel brochures depict early hotels and describe the area. Often there are business and land owners mentioned. Two clamshell 3 Ring Manuscript boxes 32 x 30 x 6 cm. Each item is in an acid free sleeve. English c.a. late 1800s to early 1920s Prior to the land boom, developers saw potential for bringing northerners to the warm climates of during the winter months. Hotels, railroads and steamship lines were advertising in newspapers as well as all major northern papers. Most of the items are ephemera, postcards, travel brochures, railroad and steamship brochures.
