1 Press Release For Immediate Release 31 May 2012 The 23rd Discovery Bay Dragon Boat Races & Carnival 2012 The 23rd Discovery Bay Dragon Boat Races & Carnival will be back on 23 & 24 June 2012 in Discovery Bay, characterised by its uniquely European ambience. Spectacular dragon boats will appear in Tai Pak Bay amid the roar of drums and gongs, filling Discovery Bay with joy and excitement! A total of 48 teams representing Discovery Bay residents, various business corporations and professional bodies will compete for a number of champions. What s more, the incredible and colourful Best Cheerleading Performance Session by Hong Kong Disneyland is not to miss! D Deck, the largest oceanfront alfresco dining hotspot in Hong Kong with 20 thematic restaurants, will not only offer international cuisine but also provide the best vantage point to watch the dragon boat races and all the happenings in Discovery Bay! You can also enjoy delectable cuisine there while chanting slogans to support the team of your choice! The Carnival at DB Plaza near Tai Pak Bay will have over 40 booths selling fabulous merchandises & snacks. Just a 5-minute ride by free shuttle bus will take you and your family from the excitement of the dragon boat races to the laughter of children enjoying themselves at Family Kingdom.
