The bus leaves the Wal-Mart parking lot in Charlottetown at 6:00 am with pick up in Borden, Aulac, Salisbury, Lincoln, and Woodstock. Transfers are provided from Dartmouth, Truro, and Saint John. We will have frequent rest breaks along the way. Arrive at the Hampton Inn & Suites Portsmouth, NH at approximately 6:00 pm. Explore the restaurants in the area or relax in your room. Tuesday, March 27 th Afternoon Enjoy a complimentary breakfast and meet your Tour Director. This morning we depart for New York City with rest breaks along the way. Arrive at the Manhattan Cruise Terminal in NYC and board the Norwegian Gem for your 11-day Eastern Caribbean Cruise. Set sail at 4:00 pm. Enjoy a five-course dinner and explore the Gem. When it comes to the entertainment on Norwegian Gem, there's never a dull moment. Round up the kids and enjoy a magical evening with our magician and comedy show. Groove to the music of the psychedelic 70's during our Band on the Run performance. Or don your best white attire and dance the night away during our White Hot Party. It's showtime. All the time. Saturday, March 31 st Basseterre, St. Kitts Arrive at Basseterre, St. Kitts at 8:00 am. Although founded by the French in 1627, St. Kitts is a very British paradise where cricket and tea are the norm. The dramatic mixed island landscape is rimmed in gold-sand beaches and dotted with well-preserved plantations left over from when the island was covered with sugar cane. Depart Basseterre at 5:00 pm. Enjoy a five-course dinner and onboard Sunday, April 1 st Monday, April 2 nd Castries, St. Lucia Arrive in Castries, St. Lucia at 8:00 am. A mecca for outdoor enthusiasts with thriving coral reefs and rain forest preserves. Explore the world's only drive-in volcanic crater at Sulfur Springs. Visit the Diamond Botanical Gardens and Falls and the Morne Coubaril Estate. Depart Castries at 5:00 pm. Enjoy a five-course dinner and onboard Bridgetown, Barbados Arrive in Bridgetown, Barbados at 8:00 am. The most British of all the Caribbean islands, games of cricket are as common here as the typical island water sports. Visit the third-oldest Parliament in the entire Commonwealth. Stroll the inviting beaches of Carlisle Bay, tour a rum factory, or visit the historical Garrison area. Bridgetown is the only city outside continental North America that George Washington visited. 3 Tuesday, April 3 rd St. John s, Antigua Arrive at St. John s, Antigua at 10:00 am. Bask in the grand sight of the city's skyline, dominated by the white baroque towers of St. John's Cathedral. Sample local cuisines, visit the Botanical Garden, witness the magnificent Antigua Lighthouse, the historical Fort James and much more as you discover this grand city. Depart St. John s at 6:00 pm. Enjoy a five-course dinner and onboard Wednesday, April 4 th St. Croix, US Virgin Islands Arrive in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands at 7:00 am. The quaint harbour town of Fredriksted welcomes you to the beautiful island of St. Croix. Calm, clear and warm waters rife with seahorses and other unique marine life make Fredriksted home of the best dive sites on the isle. Some of them just steps from our ship. For those who d rather stroll, the original city grid of seven streets by seven streets remains intact, making for a lovely journey of history through architecture. You re guaranteed not to get lost while you explore points of interest that include examples of original Danish colonial as well as Victorian residences from the town s rebuilding in the late 19th century. Still, some might prefer to lead their afternoon with a lunch of lobster bisque or any of the other delicious examples of the taste of St. Croix. 4 Saturday, April 7 th Afternoon/ Arrive at the Manhattan Cruise Terminal in New York City at 8:00 am. After we clear customs and gather our luggage, we make our way to our coach and get ready to start the journey home. We will stop for lunch and then depart for Portsmouth, NH. Arrive at the Hampton Inn & Suites, Portsmouth, NH at approximately 6:00 pm. Have dinner at a local restaurant. Sunday, April 8 th Afternoon Enjoy a complimentary breakfast and meet your Tour Director. Today we load the coach and head for home, depart at 8:00 am. Stop at the duty free store before we cross the Canada/US border at Houlton. Arrive home in the Maritimes. Say goodbye to your driver and tour director with many happy memories of your Eastern Caribbean Cruise from New York City.
