Tambo International Airport. Our flight departs late evening via Frankfurt to Venice. Overnight Aircraft Day 2 05 June 2017 VENICE, ITALY After completion of customs and immigration formalities in Venice, we will be met by a representative of Celebrity Cruises and transferred to our floating hotel and home for the duration of our Italy & Dalmatian Coast experience. For this tour we need to unpack only once. After boarding, we are briefed on the safety procedures and security measures of the cruise. Every evening a program for the next day or two is placed in each cabin. It contains all information necessary to make our tour run smoothly and without stress. When optional tours are offered (at each port of call), information and prices are given. While our ship is docked in port, we enjoy daily sightseeing tours. You have time to explore the beautiful city of Venice before we depart at 16:30. One of the world s most beautiful cities also happens to be one of its most unusual. Venice is actually spread over 120 islands in the Adriatic Sea. Because the city is connected by canals instead of streets, a good way

2 to see Venice is on a romantic gondola ride. The epicenter of the city is St. Mark s Square, where you ll find the 900-year-old St. Mark s Basilica! Day 3 06 June 2017 KOPER, SLOVENIA Located in southwest Slovenia on the Adriatic Sea, Koper is a picturesque port town with a compact, medieval center. Against a backdrop of the Alps, the area is enriched with several 15 th -century Venetian Gothic palaces, castles and spires. Nearby, the breathtaking Postojna Caves can be toured on foot and by electric train. The recreational area north across Koper Bay is ideal for hiking, horseback riding and cycling. Day 4 07 June 2017 ZADAR, CROATIA Located on the Dalmatian coast of the Adriatic Sea, Zadar is a Roman-era city with a modern and youthful vibe. Stroll along its beautiful tree-lined promenade. Start at The Sea Organ, an art installation consisting of 35 pipes cut into the promenade. Soothing chords become a cacophony when the waves are choppy, creating an unpredictable concert orchestrated by the sea. Classical sights include the Roman forum, of which only a few columns and an altar remain. Stones from here were used to build the neighbouring rotunda of 9th-century St. Donat's Church. The Church of St. Simeon contains a beautifully-crafted silver reliquary, while more can be seen in the Gold and Silver of Zadar exhibition at St. Mary's Church. There are also dozens of nearby islands for exploring and national parks where you ll enjoy lakes, waterfalls, mountains and secluded wilderness. Day 5 08 June 2017 DUBROVNIK, CROATIA Established 1,300 years ago, on the far southern tip of the Dalmatian Coast, this city once rivaled Venice in terms of its importance. Take a walking tour to the Dominican Monastery and marvel at the finest collection of Renaissance paintings, including a painting by Titian. Day 6 09 June 2017 SPLIT, CROATIA Lined with palm trees, this Adriatic seaside town is also a cultural mecca. Within the walls of the Diocletian Palace, you ll discover historical buildings, numerous museums, the National Theatre and a collection of old churches. Culture, beauty, natural wonder Split has it all.

3 Day 7 10 June 2017 KOTOR, MONTENEGRO Kotor offers some of the most well-preserved architecture in the entire Adriatic coast, with landmarks such as the Cathedral of Saint Tryphon. Built in 1166, there are frescoes dating back hundreds of years, and much of the gold and silver relief work, done by the city s master craftsmen of that time are held for safe-keeping within its walls. Day 8 11 June 2017 AT SEA This day is yours to do as much or as little as you like. Take a Celebrity ilearn class and bring your vacation photos to life. Catch some sun at the pool where butlers keep you refreshed with chilled towels and sorbets. Schedule a hot stone massage at the Canyon Ranch SpaClub. Day 9 12 June 2017 NAPLES, ITALY Framed by Mount Vesuvius along a dramatic skyline, the 2,800 year-old port city of Naples is chock full of historical sites, churches and museums that make it an incredible place for you to explore. And in the region where pizza was first invented, you know the food is going to be incredible. Just 35 miles down the coast, Salerno offers you a rich history, but also boasts a marvelous collection of parks, natural wonders, and unique vantage points to take in the beauty of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Day June 2017 CATANIA, SICILY Located on the east coast of Sicily, Catania is situated at the foot of the largest volcano in Europe, Mount Etna. Elegant, modern, and an important hub in Europe s tech industry, Catania is also rich with baroque architecture, medieval castles, Roman era theatres and a flourishing cultural and artistic center. The first university in Sicily was opened here in The Ursino castle, built in the 13th Century is now a museum. The Piazza del Duomo, at the heart of Catania, is home to the city s symbolic Fountain of the Elephant, constructed in 1736 from lava and an ancient Egyptian obelisk.
