Our Dining Room offers open-seat dining without the need to reserve a table, allowing you to dine with old or new friends on each occasion. There is no dress code. Dietary preferences and allergies are catered for with advance notice. EXPERT GUIDES & ACTIVITIES Our expert expedition staff are a hallmark of every Coral Expeditions voyage. On our Tasmanian trips, our Expedition Leader, Guest Lecturer and Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Ranger will accompany you on all shore excursions and provide expert commentary. They will also host onboard presentations and briefings. Our outdoor activities are designed to suit a variety of physical fitness levels. No athletic ability is presumed. EXCURSION BOATS Coral Expeditions I is equipped with a fleet of kayaks, inflatable Zodiacs and Explorer, our unique, specially designed excursion vessel allowing you to make landfall in out-of-the-way places. OPEN BRIDGE POLICY On all Coral Expeditions vessels guests are welcome to visit the bridge, have a chat with the Captain and crew and observe as our officers navigate through inlets and rivers. EXPEDITION ITINERARY This is a true expedition itinerary covering remote areas. Rather than stick to a prescribed schedule, the Captain and our Expedition Team pick from a menu of familiar choices, varying the itinerary to take advantage of weather conditions. Note on fitness levels: this trip is suitable for passengers of all fitness levels, though reasonable mobility is required to enjoy all it has to offer. Our Explorer tender permits easy boarding without climbing any stairs. Hikes vary in intensity and where possible we split groups to suit easy and moderate walkers. Guests are welcome to opt out of any excursion and relax onboard our top deck outdoor lounge is great on a sunny day. The ship has no elevator. As the itinerary covers remote regions, it is not suitable for passengers with serious medical conditions. Note that each itinerary will include a mix of the above attractions, depending on prevailing conditions. The Captain and Expedition Team will make daily itinerary changes to maximise the guest experience and take advantage of opportunities opened up by weather. There will be a daily briefing onboard to advise guests on the upcoming day s activities. Time of departure and return are guaranteed the rest is an adventure! Note the summer temperature can still be very cool especially with the wind chill so warm layered clothing is essential.

6 CORAL EXPEDITIONS I ACCOMMODATION & ONBOARD FACILITIES The much loved Coral Expeditions I is an Australian-flagged, Australian-crewed classic catamaran designed and built for maximum stability. With a shallow draught and high manoeuvrability, she is unique in her ability to go to places in Tasmania that are not permitted or practical for larger cruise ships. Accommodating just 44 guests, Coral Expeditions I has an intimate, informal atmosphere. The 23 onboard rooms range from 10 to 17 square metres, are comfortable with natural light, ipod docks, en-suites, and are serviced daily. An exceptional feature of Coral Expeditions I is the Explorer, an aluminium-hulled excursion tender. Cradled on a hydraulic lift at the stern of the ship, passengers board Explorer without any stairs. Explorer has seating for all 44 passengers and is used for impromptu visits to shore and to travel in very shallow waters. Coral Expeditions I also carries a complement of Zodiacs and kayaks that are used in our expedition itineraries.
