They are also suitable for many other applications. The units offer the flexibility in a wide range of applications from polishing after DE (Diatomaceous Earth filter) to hydrocarbon removal. The units can accommodate a wide range of cartridge and bag configurations depending on removal, flow, pressure and retention removal requirements. Twin Filter has also developed a combination unit, which offers the option of using filter cartridge and/or filter bags in the same unit without the need for tools, making it a field friendly unit. 4 COMBINATION BAG / CARTRIDGE FILTER UNIT COMBINATION BAG / CARTRIDGE FILTER UNIT The Duplex combination cartridge/bag filter unit is the most flexible unit within the oilfield industry. One dual pod unit can be used for filter cartridges and/ or filter bags. The unit can easily be converted from cartridge into bag without using any tools. All the bag conversion parts are stored on the unit. This offshore proof skid-mounted filter unit is equipped with all necessary valves and safety features. The Duplex combination unit offers the most cost effective way to clean-up all kinds of fluids. It allows you to filter with one vessel and easily change out the used cartridges and bags of the other vessel, without shut-down of the complete unit.
