4 From 17 of June until the 9 of September, Shahdag Mountain Resort offers summer camp sessions, starting from 7 days packages. Shahdag summer camp ensures active participation, a very broad choice of exciting activities and a high degree of learning in a fun and very international environment, all by guaranteeing maximum safety through our caring and experienced staff. Campers will return home with great experiences, fantastic memories and lifelong friendships!

10 RATIONAL NUTRITION v All campers will enjoy three different buffet style meals per day plus an evening snack v Our chef offers high quality dishes including big variations of salads, hot meals such as soups, main dishes and healthy and tasty sweets v Fresh local fruits and selection of different juices v Weekly BBQ parties and national cuisine food shows v Shahdag camp can receive campers with special food or dietary needs

12 ENGLISH LESSONS v All of our teachers are professional and have experience teaching English to juniors and teens v Our highly qualified teachers are specially chosen for their ability to relate to young people and all progress is carefully monitored v Shahdag s lessons are fun, specially designed for juniors and teens v Every camper obtains an official diploma when they finish their program v Students are given a placement test on registration. All our classes have a maximum of 20 students per class, so students have an excellent opportunity to speak and to receive individual attention from their teacher

14 ENGLISH LESSONS, ACTIVITIES v Drama group sessions. Theater production, based on English topics v Video Quiz. Watching and discussing English movies with following tasks based on movie s subject in order to identify how children and teens absorbing the knowledge v English Art Projects. Creative tasks and projects which help children and teens to study language through vibrant arts v Funny English Grammar. Creative and very effective way to learn English grammar by playing fun games in groups v Let s sing. Studying English by singing English songs v Country studies and history. Involving children and teens in culture, traditions, history v Summer time news. Camp s local newspaper. Children and teens can participate in creating of newspapers, offer their ideas and feel theirs self-actualized
15 ACTIVITIES Shahdag Summer Camp offers the ideal balance of study and leisure. Our activity programs include a wide range of cultural tours and excursions. 17 RECOMMENDED PACKING LIST (The following is a minimum recommended list of items to bring to this camp based on a 1-week stay. Bed linens, towels, and studying materials will be provided. Campers are advised not to bring valuable items.) CLOTHING v 7 T-shirts v 3 Sweatshirts / Pullovers v 1 blazer/fleece v 7 Underwear v 3 Shorts v 2 Pajamas v 1 Swimsuits v All-purpose activity shoes v Indoor sports shoes, with non-marking soles v Trekking / trail walking shoes (worn in) v Waterproof rain jacket v Sunhat / Baseball cap v Inexpensive sunglasses v Sport shoes for outdoor activities v 7 socks pairs TOILETRIES v Toothbrush and toothpaste v Shampoo v Soap v Brush or comb v Personal hygiene items v Waterproof sunscreen and lip balm (SPF 20+) v Nose rags

19 SAFETY v Safety is our MAIN priority v The use of special safety equipment is mandatory in certain activities v Health attendants at the camp 24 hours a day v A complete Medical Insurance is included in the price v It is camp policy that all medications are presented to the health care staff on arrival at camp and they will be kept and dispensed by our staff. If your child requires any medication (prescription or non-prescription), please ensure that it is clearly labelled with your child s name and provide clear written instructions as to how it must be dispensed. Prescription drugs must be in the original container with licensed physician s instructions. v Should your child be required to keep any medication on his/her person (e.g. an asthma inhaler), please provide a written medical certificate from your family doctor to this effect. v 24 hours hotline with our counsellors by phone and

21 VISITING YOUR CHILD We welcome visits to camp by children s parents every Saturday. v We offer special packages for comfortable and memorable accommodation v Also parents can choose a tour programs, excursions, masterclasses, participate in sport activities (Bob kart, paintball, mountain Segway, ZIP lining etc.) v We offer special F&B options as family open-air picnics, authentic dinners and lunches etc.
22 OUR TEAM v All of Shahdag team has experience working with children v In our camp we always have a staff member who speaks the language of the student.

24 OUR TARGETS The Shahdag summer camp has been carefully designed to ensure students benefit in full from the enriching program. The students will acquire a natural interest in improving their English level in a lively and fun environment. Our main target is to receive an excellent students feedback and continue to strive to make our summers the highlight of the year.

26 MEDICAL AND INSURANCE PROCEDURES The camp fees cover basic first aid care provided by our staff. Should your child require special care, medication or hospitalization and you have not subscribed to the Shahdag camp accident/illness insurance you will be fully responsible for all the costs incurred.

28 Rules And Policies At Camp Not allowed: v SMOKING AND DRINKING ALCOHOL v POSSESSION OR USE OF ILLEGAL DRUGS v DAMAGE TO PROPERTY v EXCURSION SUPERVISION At some point in all excursions, children are given free time for shopping for souvenirs, having a snack, etc., in a designated, controlled area. The following explains our supervision policy on excursions: All children will be given emergency phone numbers. Meeting points and times will be established and shown to the children. The maximum amount of time between meetings will be 90 minutes. Counsellors will be stationed at various locations around the designated area in case of an emergency.
