24 Rattan is a type of climbing palm which grows rapidly along the riverside to the dry land. It is found in several Indonesian islands, but it is mostly located in Borneo and the Celebes Islands. The people of Borneo have been cultivating many kinds of rattan throughout history. To eliminate the worries of forest fires and rattan s fast growing characteristics, rattan should be harvested frequently. The more often it is cut, the faster it will grow. Rattan cultivation presents the best possible choice for the future of the furniture industry. We are deeply concerned about protecting our world and its natural resources. For this reason, our products have been made with natural materials and treated with water-base and eco-friendly processes. To get the color of our collections, we use treatments without harsh chemicals to help protect our environment. As a result, colors may have slight variations.
