1 Bibliography of Clothing and Accouterments For Kevin Maccarthy To Fulfill Membership Requirements For Entrance into the American Long Rifle Association
2 Persona Occupation: Farmer/Frontiersman Time Period Location: Virginia/Pennsylvania region I am Coimhin MacCarthaigh born to Irish-Scots parents in Durham Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania in the year Working the family farm learning the skills of farming and hunting. A falling out with my father caused a move south. Working from farm to farm eventually ending up in Charlestown, Virginia. While living and moving along the frontier, I honed the skills of a frontier scout and hunter. The French began an action to control the English Colonies. Participating in the conflict from Braddocks campaign, Edwards Fort, and finally at Fort Duquesne under General Forbes. Retiring for a time to my farm near Berry s Tavern in Battletown Virginia. It is here my wife and I married. Shortly there after hostilities between England and France ceased. Soon a murderous rampage known as Pontiacs Rebellion began. Once again the Militia was called up to counter the threat. After the treaty of German Flats the Militia was once again disbanded. Expanding our farm with military service land grants my wife and I look forward to raising our daughters, crops, and livestock in peace.
