2 Location: Camp Stanica is located on shores of Crystal Lake, Bondsville, MA. From the Mass Pike take Palmer Exit #8, turn right onto Route 32 and take a right on Lawrence Street after the Shell gas station. Turn Left onto Shearer St. Turn right onto MA- 181N/Main St. Follow about 2.5 miles. Along the way you will pass straight through an intersection with Palmer Police Station on your right and Divine Mercy Parish on the left. You will also pass Burgundy Brook Country Store on your left. Take a left on Fuller Rd at the Bondsville Industrial Park. Turn left onto Phillip St. Slight left onto Paul St. Camp Stanica will be at the end of the street. A pavilion provides space for games, gymnastics, dancing, and arts & crafts. The Main Lodge houses the kitchen facilities, quarters for resident staff personnel, an infirmary under the supervision of a nurse, a TV room, and separate restrooms and showers. Eleven cabins are equipped with metal frame cots and mattresses. Although the camp enjoys the relaxation of outdoor living, the Town of Palmer Fire and Police Departments as well as Baystate Wing Hospital are located within four miles. Note: No energy drinks are allowed. We would appreciate receiving applications by June 25th.

4 ACTIVITIES: Sport Activities: Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, Football and more! Waterfront Activities: Swimming, Canoeing, Kayaking, and Fishing. Unlimited Fun: Arts & Crafts, Dancing, Trail Hikes, River Walks, Campfires, Talent Show, and more! STAFF: Camp personnel are managed by a Camp Director and will be assisted by a waterfront safety instructor, arts and crafts instructor, junior and senior counselors, cooks, a nurse, and many volunteers. OBJECTIVES: A. Appreciation of the outdoors through the study of woodlands, plants, and animal life. B. Instruction in physical fitness through swimming, water safety, and field sports. C. Recreation through folk crafts and dances. D. Each camper is assured an opportunity to meet and make new friends. PROGRAM: A flexible program offers a wide variety of interests which may be modified by the Director. Daily schedule includes breakfast, camp clean-up, lunch, supper and a variety of activities.

5 EQUIPMENT CHECKLIST: Packed into suitcase, duffle bag, and mark all equipment and clothing with camper s name. o Flashlight, plastic bag for soiled clothing. o Baseball glove. o Jacket, visor/cap. o Sneakers, sandals/flip- flops. o Water bottle. o Raincoat, boots and umbrella. o Bed linen-1 pillow, 2 pillow cases, 2 sheets, 2 blankets, sleeping bag is optional as mattresses cover metal frame cots. o Toiletry articles-2 towels and facecloths, personal grooming supplies. o Clothes-one week s supply of pajamas, socks, shorts, jeans, pants, shirts, underwear, and sweatshirt. o Bathing suit, beach towel, sun block, bug repellent. All lost and found articles will be kept at the Main Lodge until Labor Day for your convenience. SPONSORSHIP: Camp Stanica is sponsored by the volunteer board of directors of the Polish Alliance Youth Camp, Inc. and is operated as tax-exempt, non-profit organization. Camp fees are kept low due to donations from generous contributors. Gifts of any size are welcome and are tax deductible.

6 CAMP RULES: 1. A camper is expected to enter camp at the beginning of a Session on Sunday at 2:00PM- 4:00PM. Lunch is not provided on Sunday. A camper is expected to leave camp on the following Saturday. NO LATER THAN NOON. The only exceptions campers are registered for consecutive weeks that may remain at camp on Saturday between sessions. A $25.00 fee will be charged for each camper that stays between sessions. 2. Camp is for all children age All campers must be fully toilet trained. Parent will be notified and responsible for pickup of child if not toilet trained. Parent will forfeit all fees. 3. Each camper must have a doctor complete and sign a Physical Examination/ Immunizations Medical Form. All applications and a completed Physical Examination/ Immunizations Medical forms must be on file with the camp before a child can be enrolled as a camper. Your doctor office should have a print out. 4. All injuries and illnesses must be promptly reported to the Camp Nurse. 5. All campers must respect fellow campers, staff, and property of Camp Stanica. Proper clothing must be worn. Each camper is responsible for his/her behavior and must follow staff directions for safety. Parent will be called if there are any violations. 6. Visitors are welcome on Sunday when the camper is introduced to the camp staff and provided a tour of the facilities between 2:00PM and 4:00PM. 7. All camp applications returned after July 5 th is subject to a $25 late fee per application.
