They come in a 4-sided counter-top spinner version or a 3-sided floor display and have space for a broad selection of Smith s sharpeners, POP signage, usage application photography, and product trial areas. Edge Care Stations, which are smaller units designed to be temporary merchandisers, are also available to support in-store placement and promotions. Internet Smith s website, will be revamped this year to improve the customer experience and our online presence. The new site will make product searches easier, include comprehensive product descriptions and content, offer comparison tools, and ensure links to our customers websites for purchasing are efficient. In addition, our website will still be your single-source for product information, customer service, and Edge Expert guidance. In-Store Product Demonstrations And Training In-store demonstrations and training are two very effective ways to get new entry-level consumers into sharpening and eventually convert them to long-term enthusiasts. It s also a very inexpensive and convenient method to educate and train retail department managers and sales personnel on the Smith s product line, while developing selling knowledge and skills.
