Phone Postal Camp Bestival, 3 Loughborough Street, London, SE11 5RB You should receive a response within roughly 5 working days. This may be longer when nearer the time of the festival, so please do try to be as patient as possible. SITE DESCRIPTION Camp Bestival is an outdoor event utilising the Lulworth Castle grounds. The majority of the grounds are flat and are serviced by a network of paths, however mobility problems are posed on grass areas, particularly in bad weather conditions. If it rains it may get muddy and access around the site (other than on paths) may be very difficult. Electric wheelchairs can tackle most areas without too much trouble but the ground can be uneven in places. There are some pathways located in the Castle Field, and Magic Meadow areas, but the majority of the festival is on short grass with firm soil. Your personal assistant will need to assist you if it becomes difficult. We do not offer any internal transport due to the limitations of moving around the site. Festaxi offer a service that will enable this for disabled customers you need to book this directly through them should you not come in a car. There are around 15 different stages and performance areas, which are located in the main arenas. From the Accessible Campsite, the Castle Stage is closest, which is about 400 metres from the Accessible Campsite. The Big Top is about 600 metres from the Accessible Campsite. The Bollywood stage is 498 metres from the Accessible Campsite. The Accessible carpark is located next to Hospitality Camping. Please note that you can only park here if you are a Blue Badge holder or camping in the Accessible Campsite. BOOKABLE ACCESS FACILITIES 2 FOR 1 ONE FREE DISABILITY ACCESS PERSONAL ASSISTANT PASS Customers requiring assistance throughout the festival are entitled to one free pass for their Personal Assistant/Support worker. Please note that the individual with a disability must have a ticket. 2

In our commitment to make Camp Bestival accessible to everyone, we may provide Deaf or disabled ticket holders that would be unable to attend without use of a personal assistant (PA), and are in receipt of one or more of the following, with a ticket at no additional cost for one PA: Middle or Higher rate DLA for care and/or mobility Receipt of Personal Independence Payment (PIP) Evidence of being severely sight impaired CredAbility Access Card + 1 category requirement A recognised Assistance Dog ID Card. HOW TO APPLY Please complete this form, available online only. If you do not have a scanner, you can take pictures of your documents and upload them. Please note the images must match one of the above requirements. THE PASS The ONE FREE pass will be collected at Camp Bestival when you present your matching ID upon arrival and are with your personal assistant. This will not be sent to you in advance, and we will not issue any PA passes without matching ID, so please remember to bring this with you to avoid disappointment! Personal Assistants will also be able to access the viewing platform if there is space available at the time. The deadline for Applications for Personal Assistant passes is Friday 21st July 2017, however applications may close earlier if our full capacity is reached before this date. It is highly recommended that you apply as early as possible. If you feel you require a PA at the festival but do not have any of the above evidence, please contact us explaining your requirements, with any evidence you do have, and we will consider it on a caseby-case basis. (PLEASE FIND INFORMATION ON HOW TO COLLECT YOUR PASS BELOW) THE 2 FOR 1 PERSONAL ASSISTANT APPLICATION CLICK HERE VIEWING PLATFORM All customers who receive a 2 for 1 Personal Assistant Pass are allowed to access the Viewing Platforms along with their Personal Assistant, if there is space available. 3

If you do not require a Personal Assistant pass but feel you will need to access the Viewing Platforms, please disabilityaccess@campbestival.net. Viewing Platforms & areas are located at the following; The Castle Stage The viewing platform is located at the back of The Castle Field, located to the right of the Lulworth Castle (When facing the castle from the Castle Stage. This can be access from the back of the viewing platform. All viewing platforms & areas are only accessible to those with the correct passes. There are accessible toilets located on the viewing platforms. ACCESSIBLE CAMPSITE The Accessible campsite is located next to the Lower Kids Garden, behind the Art Town tent. There are disabled toilets, disabled showers and charging points for electric wheelchair users all located in this campsite. There is also a dedicated member of staff located in this field, so please approach them if you have any access requirements or questions. Please note that a maximum of 6 people (including yourself and your Personal Assistant) may camp in one pitch. Due to limited space in the Accessible Campsite field, we need to be strict on how much space each group is allocated. This is set at a 5 x 7m pitch per group/family. All groups are asked to abide by this so that we can fit as many people in the campsite as possible. Please be considerate of others - if you exceed the pitch size, you are taking space away from others! HOW TO APPLY The Accessible Campsite is available to ticket holders who have been accepted to receive a Personal Assistant pass. You will be sent the application form once your PA application has been accepted. If you do not have a PA pass, but feel you should be able to camp in this area, please disabilityaccess@campbestival.net. 4

Please note that spaces in the Accessible Campsite are allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis and will fill at a fast rate. The application process will close as soon as the campsite reaches its maximum capacity, thus recommend that you do not delay in applying. ACCESSIBLE PARKING Everyone wishing to park will need to purchase a parking ticket, either in advance through Ticketline, or upon arrival. Only Blue Badge holders, or those in the Accessible Campsite will be able to use the Accessible car park. TRAVEL GUIDE Because of the hills at Camp Bestival and the distance from the entrance to the camping areas, we recommend that you arrive by car. ARRIVING BY CAR If you are camping in the Disability Access Campsite or need to access the Accessible Carpark, please follow the directions to the Camp Bestival site as directed to White gate (the Main Lulworth Castle Gates). For all other campsites, please follow the information on our Travel Info page. Please always use festival directions when you see them, and turn off SAT NAVs as these are not always up-to-date and may change due to event situations. Your Parking pass for the Accessible Campsite/Car Park will be collected at the festival where it will be allocated to one vehicle only (this also includes a campervan) ARRIVING BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT If you are arriving by any bus service, you ll enter at White gate, which is a very short distance to the Accessible Campsite. If you have difficulty with mobility and do not have a car, you can book a Festaxi to pick you up and take you into the festival. Please info@festaxi.com to book one in advance, as they will then know the time you will arrive. Please be advised that there may be a wait for this service. Please contact us directly if you are travelling any other way. ARRIVAL GUIDE SITE OPENING TIMES All car parks will open at 9am and campsites open at midday on Thursday 27th July

All campsites close at 2pm on Monday 30th May (car parks close at 4pm) Music and entertainment generally runs from roughly 09:00am 03:00am each day (The Castle Stage featuring the event headliners finishes at about midnight on Sunday). No entrance will be granted to Camp Bestival after midnight on any night COLLECTING YOUR PERSONAL ASSISTANT PASS To collect your one free Personal Assistant pass, you must arrive with your tickets and the person who will be your PA. No wristbands can be collected in advance or by anyone else. If you are arriving by public transport, staying in general camping, Wild Copse, Boutique or the Campervan/Caravan Fields, your free Personal Assistant Pass will be available from any of the Box Offices they will have a list with your name and have the relevant wristbands for you. Your Personal Assistant will receive a lanyard to wear when they are assisting you. These must be collected at the Accessible Campsite, not at the box office. All people (adults, teens and children) other than your ONE FREE Personal Assistant must have a valid ticket to enter the festival including the person with a disability. The name listed as your Personal Assistant can also change and you do not need to let us know in advance. ACCESSIBLE CAMPSITE If you are camping in the Accessible Campsite, please enter through White Gate and follow signs for Accessible Camping. Only vehicles with a blue badge can park in the Accessible Campsite area, if there is available space and if your tent and car fit in the 7m x 5m pitch size. If you do not fit in this space, you will be asked to park in the Accessible Carpark located just next to the campsite. ON SITE TEAM Our dedicated Disability Access on-site team is led by Drew, and his team will be your point of contact during the weekend. They are based at the Accessible Campsite. Please note that the Access Team will not have a buggy, so please use the service offered by Festaxi to arrange any internal transport. There are restrictions on where this service can go as well so please come prepared if you cannot walk long distances. 6

TOILETS Accessible toilets will be provided across site. We will provide further info on their location closer to the festival. All accessible toilets will be padlocked and a code can be gained from the on-site Disability Access Team in the Accessible Campsite. Please do not share the code or remove the padlocks for any reason, if they are removed, then they will become open for anyone to use. There are accessible toilets at both the Main Stage and Big Top viewing platforms. MEDICAL AND WELFARE PROVISIONS If you have any medication that needs to be kept cool, we have fridges available for you to use in the medical tent. We recommend you take your medication directly to the medical tent when you arrive on site. The medical tent is located in the Magic Meadow field. All our on-site medical facilities are provided by Festimed, so we recommend reading their FAQs before attending Bestival. If you have any other questions regarding medical and welfare provisions, please contact us directly. ASSISTANCE DOGS If you would like to bring an Assistance Dog to the festival, please contact us directly first. We will request evidence in order for you to do so (this will usually be either be the Dogs ID book or evidence of the dog s training as an Assistance Dog from an ADUK certified organisation). STROBE LIGHTING We would like to advise all customers that flicker, laser, strobe and other lighting effects may be in use at the festival site. 7

OTHER INFORMATION We recognise that some, particularly those with specific learning difficulties may need to find a space to step away from the crowds and noise. We do our best to provide this but it is difficult in a festival environment. 8
