9 IMPORTANT THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE ATTENDING CAMP CENTERSTAGE-ACADEMY 1. You must be on time for each day s company meeting at 9:00 a.m. in the ACA building. 2. Let us know if you have to miss a day as far in advance as possible. The production of a show is a team effort and everyone is needed at every rehearsal. 3. Saturday, June 25 is a performance day for family and friends. Shows begin at 10:30 a.m. 4. Wear comfortable, washable clothes in which you can be physically active. No dresses or skirts. You are likely to be on the floor for part of the day. ONLY CLOSE-TOED SHOES PLEASE. NO FLIP FLOPS OR SANDALS. Planned activities make these kinds of shoes inappropriate. Sport or tennis shoes will be fine. 5. It may be COOL inside the building. We suggest you bring a light jacket or sweater, in case you need it. You can leave it here until camp is over. 6. Don t forget to bring your lunch OR your money ($5) if you plan to buy lunch. Lunch menu for the two weeks is included in this packet. We will provide a morning snack. 7. Sorry, but we cannot accommodate visitors during the daily sessions. 8. Early drop-off (7:30am-8:30am) and late pick-up (4:00pm-5:00pm) is held at Hudgins Hall, across the parking lot from the ACA building. Please drop-off/pick-up your camper at this location if you sign up for these extended hours. There is no early or late drop-off at the ACA building.
10 PICK UP AND DROP OFF PROCEDURES FOR PARENTS No exceptions, as your child s safety is our #1 concern!!! On the first day of camp, it is imperative a parent or guardian drop off his or her child at Angelina Center of the Arts (ACA-See Map). Like school drop off, cars will line up single file in the order in which they arrive. A camp administrator will distribute 5 pre-printed Camp CenterStage 2011 dashboard signs. Dashboard signs will be number-specific to your camper. It is your responsibility to distribute these dashboard signs to the other authorized driver/vehicles provided on your Pick-Up Permission Form. When picking up your campers you must have this sign placed visisbly on the passenger-side dashboard of your vehicle. Pull up to the front entrance of the ACA building and line up single file in the order in which you arrive. Your dashboard sign will determine and assist our staff in expediting your camper out to you. The more cooperation we get on the pick-up procedure, the smoother and faster it will go. If for some reason a dashboard sign is not visible or not placed within the pick-up vehicle, the driver will be asked to park and provide proof of ID and checked against the list of people having permission to pick up your camper. The Camp Administrator and Camp Assistant directing traffic outside will assist you once parents with dashboard signs are completed picking up their children.
