3 Staff News - GreenWoodS Camp We would like to announce a few amazing staff members that will be returning this summer. DANIEL LEBOVITZ, 22, will be back at camp for his 14th summer at camp, 5th year on staff and 2nd summer as the Greenwoods Program Coordinator! Having grown up at camp he is excited to share his enthusiasm and love for camp with campers this summer. Originally from Illinois, he attends University of Nebraska-Lincoln where is he studying pre-medical biological sciences. We are excited to have THOMAS TOM FRANKLIN, 22, back for his second summer at camp. Tom will be back at the climbing wall this summer. He is from the UK, he is involved in teaching canoeing and kayaking back home. He has also assisted a PE teacher back home with classes. We are excited to welcome back JACK O GORMAN, 23, all the way from Australia, to his second summer at camp. Jack will be teaching waterski on the waterfront. Back home Jack spends most of his time outdoors. He enjoys playing basketball, football and anything to do with water-sports. We will continue to announce the incredible staff joining us next summer on our Instagram. STAY CONNECTED... We are constantly sharing photos and posting exciting news throughout the year. Go to and click LIKE! Also follow us on Bring Your Best! While your son will gain new friends, new experiences and new skills at camp, more importantly, he is part of a brotherhood fueled by a camaraderie and sense of belonging that is unique to Greenwoods. At camp, campers strive to emulate our camp values, and we celebrate those achievements. Our camp values are resilience, creativity, teamwork, independence, optimism, friendship and citizenship. Our values are woven throughout all that we do at camp. At Greenwoods Camp, we live by the motto Camp Cool. Camp Cool is a term we use to encourage our campers to be confident and comfortable in their own skin. Also, it reminds everyone that Greenwoods is a place free of judgment and a place where we all get to decide what is cool!
4 Get ready for a screen-free summer! ELECTRONICS POLICY AT CAMP At Greenwoods, we think it is important for our campers to unplug and let themselves be present and engaged in their camp experience. Our screen-free policy ensures that our campers get a much-needed break from the digital world. Please reinforce the following rules with your child before camp begins. In an effort to promote a non-materialistic camp environment and in fairness to all campers and parents, our camp has implemented a NO package policy. This policy extends to all parents, relative and friends. In order to ensure fairness, this policy will be strictly enforced. - Any package received will be returned to sender. - You MAY send flat envelopes up to 9x12 in size.
