Enhance downtown with 645,000 sq. ft. of new brick/cobblestone street pavers (instead of asphalt). Improve downtown sidewalks and pedestrian crossings to make downtown more pedestrian friendly. Create a history path. Create 10 new bed and breakfasts and 3-5 boutique hotels in downtown (adding 300 new rooms). Make improvements to the Colonial Archaeological Trail adding reconstructions of 4 or 5 sections of the forts, and other sites and buildings. Create Ferry docking facilities: a. Fort Pickens b. Downtown Pensacola c. NAS Pensacola Create a downtown trolley system. Construct 2 new downtown parking garages and improve existing lots.
