Arnold & Assoc., LPA, Columbus, OH This session will discuss the new accounting requirements for audits of ESOP financial statements - focusing particularly on the new expanded disclosures with respect to how fair market value is determined for ESOP shares - as well as the updated regulations for the Delinquent Filer Voluntary Compliance Program (DFVCP). This session is designed for the executives of ESOP companies (especially CFOs, CEOs and Human Resources professionals), ESOP trustees, valuators, and other ESOP professionals, and will include examples that apply the new rules, and a discussion of the potential impact of the new rules on ESOPs from a company, audit, valuation, and legal perspective.
