4 College Trends and Data, Students: NVC served 9,076 students via its credit and non credit programs (8,255 in credit), accounting for 37,239 total enrollments (35,596 credit). Degrees: 924 degrees conferred to 775 students in Certificates: 322 Certificates to 316 students in

5 College Trends and Data, Transfers: Approximately 600 students transferred to a four year institution last year Statewide Scorecard Measures (Chancellor s Office): Completion: 51.0% of students completed a degree, certificate or transferred (state average among community colleges = 47%) Career Technical Education Completion Rate: 67% of students enrolled in CTE courses completed a degree or certificate (state average = 54.0%). We have the 4 th highest completion % in this category in the state. 5

19 NVC Economic Impact Analysis Napa Valley College Is A Big Contributor To Local Economy, Study Says (Napa Valley Register, August 20, 2014 By Howard Yune) Napa Valley College s activities and the job skills gained by its students pump hundreds of millions of dollars into the county and make more than 5,000 jobs possible the college directly or indirectly added $255 million into the Napa County economy in the academic year. That figure includes $215.3 million of income by former students, plus $34.4 million in payroll that contributed to local retail spending 19

20 NVC Economic Impact Analysis Napa Valley College and its students added $255 million in income to the Greater Napa Valley economy. NVC employed nearly 1,000 full time and part time employees. Payroll amounted to $34.4 million. The college spent another $23.5 million to support its day today operations. 20
