3 1. Summary of 2014 Community Park Survey The Park Committee believes that its role is to continue to manage the park for the benefit of the community, to insure that continuous investment is made to preserve the park infrastructure and natural areas, and to insure that park use is consistent with the themes of historical, cultural, family, and artistic use. In 2014, a comprehensive park survey was completed. Kelley Market Research assisted in the data analysis. Over half of the village property owners responded. The Park Committee will use the park survey data for future planning and prioritization of projects. A summary of the survey follows. The full survey can be reviewed by contacting the Park Committee chair. As in past years, the park is viewed as a centerpiece of Stockholm. This ordinance replaces Ordinance Definitions Small group: 25 or fewer people Medium group: 26 to 50 people Large group: 51 to 100 or more people Commercial use: admission is charged and/or a free-will offering is expected and/or something is sold and/or the event is advertised to the public. 1.4 Park Permits and Fees All current Stockholm Park fees are listed in the Village Chart of Fees and Permit Costs. Special Benefits to Stockholm Residents: Stockholm residents are entitled to the following benefits: - Waiver of the Park Use Fee for gatherings or events of fewer than 25 people hosted by the resident - Waiver of camping fees when residents personally camp in the park.
