1 O R D I N A N C E NO AN ORDINANCE, transferring Two Million Three Hundred Ninety-Four Thousand Three Hundred Twenty Dollars ($2,394,320.00) as a loan from the General Fund of the District to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Subdistrict No. 449 (Meramec River Basin - MSD Southwest) and providing for repayment of said loan, and appropriating Eleven Million Nine Hundred Seventy-one Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($11,971,600.00), from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Subdistrict No. 449 (Meramec River Basin - MSD Southwest), of which Two Million Three Hundred Ninety-four Thousand Three Hundred Twenty Dollars ($2,394,320.00) is to be used to pay the District's twenty percent (20%) share; a grant of Six Million Five Hundred Eighty-four Thousand Three Hundred Eighty Dollars ($6,584,380.00) is anticipated from the Environmental Protection Agency, and a grant of Two Million Nine Hundred Ninety-two Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($2,992,900.00) is anticipated from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources for Contracts E-456 (Engineering services during the design of the Fenton Interim Wastewater Treatment Plant), E-483 (Engineering services during construction of the Fenton Interim Wastewater Treatment Plant), C-1144 (Construction of the Fenton Interim Wastewater Treatment Plant), E-458 (Engineering services during the design of the Meramec Interceptor I (Riverside), E-484 (Engineering services during construction of the Meramec Interceptor I (Riverside), C-1145 (Construction of the Meramec Interceptor I (Riverside), Federal

3 WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of the Fenton Interim Wastewater Treatment Plant is Eight Million Eight Hundred Sixty-two Thousand Dollars ($8,862,000.00), and the bid for the construction of the Meramec Interceptor I (Riverside) is One Million Seven Hundred Eighteen Thousand Three Hundred Eighty-five Dollars ($1,718,385.00), and the cost of engineering, inspection, construction staking, advertising and allowance for construction change orders is One Million Three Hundred Ninety-one Thousand Two Hundred Fifteen Dollars ($1,391,215.00), and WHEREAS, the District anticipates a fifty-five percent (55%) grant from the Environmental Protection Agency of the United States to pay fifty-five percent (55%) of the cost of said project, and WHEREAS, a twenty-five percent (25%) grant is anticipated from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to pay twenty-five percent (25%) of the cost of said project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Million Three Hundred Ninety-four Thousand Three Hundred Twenty Dollars ($2,394,320.00) is hereby transferred as a loan from the General Fund of the District to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Subdistrict No. 449 (Meramec River Basin - MSD Southwest). Section Two. The Director of Finance is hereby directed to repay the loan as specified in Section One above as 3
4 funds become available in Subdistrict No. 449 (Meramec River Basin - MSD Southwest). Section Three. The sum of Two Million Three Hundred Ninety-four Thousand Three Hundred Twenty Dollars ($2,394,320.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Subdistrict No. 449 (Meramec River Basin - MSD Southwest) to pay twenty percent (20%) of the cost for Contracts E-456 (Engineering services during the design of the Fenton Interim Wastewater Treatment Plant), E-483 (Engineering services during construction of the Fenton Interim Wastewater Treatment Plant), C-1144 (Construction of the Fenton Interim Wastewater Treatment Plant), E-458 (Engineering services during the design of the Meramec Interceptor I (Riverside), E-484 (Engineering services during construction of the Meramec Interceptor I (Riverside), C-1145 (Construction of the Meramec Interceptor I (Riverside), Federal Project C Section Four.
