3 PRESIDENTS MESSAGE: Just a reminder that there is no club meeting in May to allow time for the officers to transition. Presently the office of President is vacant. However, Tom Palisin has accepted the nomination for president. Please come to the June 6th club meeting to elect the club president! A quorum is necessary!! We'll be having an ice cream social at our June club meeting and after a short business meeting we'll do some committee work. Specifically, the trip, picnic, and program committees will be making plans. This is a great time to share your ideas of what you would like to do in the coming year both on the slopes and at the club meetings. Also, Cindy D. has been doing a great job leading the refreshments committee, but has decided to step down in August. So if you are interested in helping this way please president. Cindy, John, and Valerie have been taking turns getting the refreshments for our meetings. Thank you Cindy, John, and Valerie for keeping us well fed! Again, let me say thank you to all for a great year with the Lewis Ski Club! Margaret Past-President THANKS: Thanks to our out going officers Cindy Bush, Recorder; Alison Wood, Publicity, Victoria Wise, Trustee and a BIG THANKS to Margaret Proctor, President, for taking on the onerous task of making the club into a legitimate non-profit organization. With the amounts of dollars flowing through the club s coffers from organizing and running ski trips, it wasn t a matter of if somebody would notice, but when. I believe I mentioned all the officers that changed, but if I missed some one my apology and let me know so I can give mention in the next newsletter. TECH TIP: Lewis Ski Club Calendar on your Smartphone! Don't miss out on any of the club's summer social activities. Find out about all the clubs trips as soon as they are posted. Remote online calendars are a great way to keep up to date. Yes, if you have a smartphone, you can follow the clubs online calendar. All of the clubs events and trips will show up on your calendar for easy planning. You can show or hide the events at any time. Instructions on how to subscribe to the club's online calendar are found on the club's webpage:
