1 SERVAS SLOVENIA ITALY AUSTRIA invite you to the ALPE-ADRIA MEETING September 14-16, 2018 Europe We are celebrating that countries at war a hundred years ago are living together in peace and friendship now Location: Kobarid/Caporetto/Karfreit, Slovenia Kamp Koren, Ladra 1b, 5222 Kobarid Accommodation There are 6 chalets with bathroom/toilet to accommodate 6 persons each (4 persons in double bedrooms, and 2 more in an additional space):

2 There are spaces for camping vehicles and tents: Cost per person for 2 nights with breakfast and 2 dinners: in a chalet: 105 Euros ( 65 for 2 nights including tourist tax; 15 for Friday dinner and Saturday breakfast; 25 for Saturday dinner and Sunday breakfast); in a tent or camper vehicle: 75 Euros ( 35 for 2 nights including tourist tax electricity for vehicles 4/day must be paid extra - 15 for Friday dinner and Saturday breakfast; 25 for Saturday dinner and Sunday breakfast). It is also possible to participate only in the Dinner Buffet on Saturday. Registration and payment in advance for accommodation and food : see Registration Form. There is a camp café, no full restaurant; for groups like ours the camp cooperates with a catering service - that's why signing up for the food is important. Those who have time to stay for lunch on Sunday can sign up and pay for it during the meeting ( 15). Additional costs: beverages; individual lunch on Saturday; entrance fees.

By train and bus from Italy: take bus no. 1 from Gorizia central station to Nova Gorica (Via Caprin, in front of the train station); direct bus connections from Nova Gorica to Kobarid: at 9:40, 12:00, 13:35, 14:40, 15:30, 19:25 (it takes 75 minutes). PROGRAM (changes possible according to the weather situation) Friday Sept. 14, 2018 Participants' arrival and check-in: from 2pm 7:30 pm: dinner After dinner: games, songs, getting to know each other Saturday Sept. 15, 2018 Breakfast from 8 am Departure 9 am Different hikes for various skill levels, including short talks by historians. Longer hike (3-4 hours): via Tonocov Castle to St. Anthony Church & War Cemetery. Short hikes: to Kozjak waterfalls; to Tonocov Castle; to St. Anthony Church via Napoleon's Bridge and Kobarid. No food available along the hiking trails bring your own lunch!
