2 PAGE 2 A message To our members GOVERNOR S MESSAGE SENIOR REGENT S MESSAGE Hello Everyone, I hope everyone enjoyed the busy holiday season with family, friends and functions at the lodge. I want to thank all the volunteers who made the functions a success. The lodge projects and maintenance is always a ongoing thing. The parking lot has been sealed and restriped and the dining area and stage were remodeled. The social quarters will be next and maybe the hallway. If any member has an idea please use the suggestion box. I want to welcome Jason Littlepage, a new appointed officer to our board. Thank you for your service. I also want to welcome John Niesen our new sports chairman, thank you for volunteering. If anyone would like to be on the sports committee let John or me know, we are always looking for new activities to do. We are asking for help on the Taco crew, if you would like to help, please contact the office or me. Come join us this month on the 10th for liver and onions, the Winter Wonderland Dinner Dance on the 12th and the Karaoke Contest on the 19th. The new artwork hanging on the wall next to the Fellowship Bar was donated by Rubin Clement. Thank you. Hello, Happy New Year!! How were your holidays? Mine were very busy. I hope everyone had fun and didn't eat too much ham and turkey. Let's start our year out right, let's get some new members and some good volunteers. I know we all can't volunteer but let's remember that's what the Moose is about - our children, our seniors, and our community. If we don't have volunteers we can't make it. And speaking of volunteers, everyone please remember to bus your own tables at all our functions. The crews work hard decorating and getting the food to your, a little help from you would be very much appreciated. Our New Year's Eve dance was a great success as usual. Have you seen the newly painted and decorated women's bathroom, what a difference. Our Christmas dinner was well attended and we had a new band! January 12th is the WOTM Winter Wonderland Dinner Dance, put on some party duds and join in the fun. January 19th will be the Karaoke Contest. We have some good singers out there. I hope you'll compete and maybe go on to represent the lodge in Las Vegas. As you know prices are going up everywhere. The WOTM will raise Spaghetti Night price to $6.00 beginning in February. Moose of the Month is Doug Tibbitts for the work he does behind the scene on the application reviews. Have a Happy New Year! Fraternally Yours, Rick Lutz Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a joyous Holiday Season and I hope the Lodge was part of that joy. The New Year brings with it new challenges and new answers to those challenges. We are fortunate in that our lodge is prosperous and growing. That being said we do still need a few more volunteers for our kitchen crews. It is just 3 or 4 hours an evening once a month. No experience necessary, we will train you. And remember.bring your friends, sign them in a time or 2 as a guest, then sign them up as a member. Gary Gildemeister Administrator Administrators Report My Special Moosette of the month is Janice Hill, thank you for your willingness to help out wherever you're needed. Till next month, Happy Moose trails. Sincerely, Doreen Rosales
