1 FORR Local 33 Meeting Minutes November 18, 2018 Pledge/Moment/Meaning of FORR Pres- Sarge; DD turned in a donation of $ to our Adopt a Family from the Whiteman Spouses Group. Thank you to the Spouses! There were 750 Giveaway tickets turned in today. Dec 15- Next meeting and shopping for the Christmas Party Dec 16- AaF Christmas Party Vice- Larry; Thank you everyone for being here. Today we have the elections so vote for who you think will take us back to the beginning of FORR and Local 33. We will have more ticket sale venues. Keep selling as many as you can. Larry said that they said on CC Floor, and at meeting with Ed, that "We need to get back to the old ways." Kathy said the F.E.W. seminar will be getting back to basics. We have lost our way as an Org. and Local. Allen would like to send out a salute to Salon and Spa s for giving him a new Santa Suit. Hist.- Nancy; DD has brought in albums from Local 33, Even one of the "Am Vets fire". If any members have any pictures of Local 33 s past, could you please bring them to Nancy, so she and the Webmaster can get them on the Local website. We have pictures from after the fire, just not from before as they were burned in the fire. Renee donated $ to the AaF Fund.

2 HRC- Pat; There will be no more fun runs due to the weather getting colder, unless weather permits. Most Miles Competition Winner over all is, st Pat= 11,138 miles 1 2nd Sarge= 8,044 miles 3rd Bungee= 6,117 miles 4th Sam C= 5,821 miles 5th Hutch= 4,844 miles 6th Rob K= 4,378 miles 7th Doug= 0 miles 8th Larry= 2,840 Much appreciation for all that competed. If you have any ideas for next years rides get with Pat. Kathy said maybe we could do a "Passport" with local businesses to get new members or give incentive for members to join rides. She also told us that the state did a name challenge. The idea is to spell out your name using road signs. We want Dist. 4 to do what they were designed to do but they told us they didn t know that it was designed to legislate for FORR. They are happy with being party planners. We told them if they didn t do what they were designed for we would quit Dist. 4, Larry asked Kathy if they had bylaws. Ans- There are no bylaws. There are policies. Kathy was also asked if Oktoberfest is a Dist. 4 event. Ans- No. It is a FORR organization fundraiser. There should be no tolerance on this! They must get back on track! Larry stated he is needing guidance from the Lifers on getting Dist. 4 back on track.

3 Kathy told Larry to keep doing what he does Lead by example! Doug stated that if you are going to infiltrate you need to go to the other Locals meetings and hear what the Reps are reporting back as to what is going on at Dist. 4 meetings. Contact other Locals members and talk to them one on one. Larry said he will go and do this. MAFR- Sam; We are approved for Friday and Saturday Day Passes. We do not have a t-shirt vendor. If you know of someone that can be mobile (on site) please let Nancy know. Ed turned in $ in adds and such for MAFR. We will be using Nancy s flyer for advertising. The work schedule will be posted on our Local 33 website for people to sign up for shifts. There are 26 Shifts and 3 (one hour) clean up shifts. Larry will have the bands all signed up by 1 Jan. Kenny told Larry that the band Sweet Shot wants to play at MAFR this year. Renee has old MAFR patches for sale at $3.00 each. Get with her if you want some. Larry invited everyone to come to the MAFR meetings. We will sell 500 patches. They are black, orange and white. Very classy. We are doing NO advertising unless it s free. RP- Sarge; 2,550 turned in 3,450 to sell 1,200 still with Sarge Sell Tickets! We only have 4 weeks left! Product- Tamra; Nancy and Larry gave her $50.00 for all her hard work and dealing with what she had to deal with. Go to a Spa or dinner. Tamra donated it back to product line. Thank you Tamra! Web- Sam C; Nothing, Sarge told Sam C. he is doing a good job. BRC- JR; Not in attendance. Kathy- The curriculum has changed, and Missouri is behind. They will update next year. The new group of instructors are had picked. Expectations will be higher on the instructors and easier on new riders. The instructors will be going back to ARC bootcamp. CC-Cowboy; Financials were read. Chairman is looking for Locals to sponsor the Hospitality Room still. CC is looking to put the Freedom Press strictly online. It now cost $2, for paper. Submissions to the Freedom Press are used as recruiting devices. Do not put any derogatory word and such in the Freedom Press. Ed was brought up to CC for this and Sarge talked to Mark and it was resolved before the meeting.

4 John C. asked if he will still be charged for it since that is what his dues are for since he is a lifetime member. Ans- Kathy stated that had not been decided yet. Leg- Bill K. has resigned and Smokin Joe will take his place. Need to keep better track of budget. Kathy requests that Cowboy keep a notebook with him on the CC Floor as there are discrepancies on all but 9 accounts. So many discrepancies may be abscondence. She asks for an audit. She was told by the GM that they will get with the Treasurer and they have 1 week to answer her. She will make a motion from Local 33 for them to do an independent audit. She sends Cowboy with marching orders to keep records. Renee said she had questions about MAFR but not finding missing reports. Larry asked if anyone, but Kathy would have seen this. Ans-Kathy said a training instructor had seen this. Larry said we as a group need to find out what is going on. Karen asked if there is a line of accountability? Locals should have exact records. Ed stated that this had happened with MAFR years ago. Homecoming- Started with a $10,000 budget. Locals have sponsored the bands. F.E.W.- March 9th, Theme is Back to History. Each Local is to contribute Memorabilia. Mid-South Mile- Basket will be auctioned at the F.E.W. Seminar. He will get more information in February on this. It will be held in Shreveport, Louisiana. Motorcycle Awareness- 84 deaths so far this year. Numbers are up. MAY Rally- May 1, 2019 Tres-Out Memb- Active members= 1,788, Down by 122. Safety- BL stepped down and JR will be taking over. Jr has an idea to make money for Safety. A Motorcycle Giveaway. Cost will be no more than $10,000. To give away in May ,000 tickets to be sold at $5,00 each. He will need to put ½ down in July 2019 for motorcycle. Benefits go to replace safety equipment. Local 33 voted JR do this. Product Line- Discussed calendars. We will not be getting them this year. Shelly P. resigned as product manager. Karen asked if we can still get product until the end of year. Unknown. Allen wants to know what will happen with the product we have already ordered? No one has that answer. Cowboy will ask Sparky to get with Shelly P. Old Business- Lane Shady said the State Giveaway made $3, for FORR. Ed- Rhonda is not doing her job up to standard. Can we get her help? Kathy asked if she could be retrained. Karen said Thank you for the plant sent to her.

5 New Business- Lost went to Fayetteville to Bikers Blues and BBQ. He was upset because they had blocked getting on to the strip to Spiders, but it made it hard for bikes with sidecars on them. They need to reconsider this or keep someone at each barrier. This is a form of discrimination. Are they violating City ordinances? And what about them harassing him about LED lights on his motorcycle? Doug- Go to State with it. Sarge- Take it to Legislature Cowboy will find out about how Missouri stands on this. Jay said he got harassed and there is no regulation in Missouri. Lost motioned for us to check into a stationary bike with their LED lights on. Seconded and Passed. Sarge said he will check into Laws and their wording. Jr- 2 Giveaways a year is too many. Over inundates people. If we have 2 one should go to the GF or Safety. Jay Motioned we use the money for Safety/Cowboy seconded/passed. JR said that the verbiage is important on our presentation of this to state if we are wanting to split the money. Cowboy stated that we need to be the example on this. Motion for there to be a 3rd account made for Safety/Seconded/Passed. 1st Giveaway for Safety and the 2nd for AaF.
