Continue on the north bank of the river through the Botanic Gardens and along the quiet streets of New Farm. WEDNESDAY 2 nd 10am - CANNON HILL, BUSHLAND CIRCUIT This walk is through the Cannon Hill streets, Minippi Creek bushland, continuing through the Murarrie Recreation Area & Park Hill Reserve Distance 7.5km mostly flat terrain Meet Cannon Hill Railway Station UBD Map 161 G 9 Transport Train Cleveland Line departs 9.17am Central Station Finish Return to railway station SHORT OPTION take the opportunity to leave the walk at Cannon Hill Bus Interchange or Murarrie Railway station for a shorter distance. THURSDAY 3 rd 8am - HOLLAND PARK TO STONES CORNER Walk through the parks and streets of Holland Park & Greenslopes and continue along the bike path to Stones Corner Distance 7 km mostly flat terrain Meet Bus stop 34 Mt Thompson Logan Road F/S Nursery Road, Holland Park UBD Map 181 A 18 Transport Bus Cityxpress 170 departs 7.40am Queen Street Bus Station 1g Finish Stones Corner SUNCORP STADIUM CIRCUIT Cross the Go Between bridge to the North side of the river accessing Milton Road via the station. Return via Caxton Mall and Upper Roma Street.

WEDNESDAY 9 th 9 am - KENMORE CIRCUIT A pleasant walk through the older suburb of Kenmore and continue through parkland by Moggill Creek and into Brookfield before returning to Kenmore. Meet Meadowlands Picnic Ground, Meadowlands Rd, Carina UBD Map 182 D 1 (Belmont Road side of bridge) TUESDAY 15 th 10 am - KARAWATHA FOREST PARK - This is a guided walk through the forest skirting outcrops of sandstone. The wet heathlands and melaleuca swamps in Karawatha Forest provide a home for many species of wildlife - birds, mammals, frogs and reptiles. Distance 8 km approx. Meet Trinder Park Railway Station UBD Map 241 L 3 Transport Train Beenleigh Line, departs 9.04am Central Station Finish Return to railway station WEDNESDAY 16 th 8 am - THE RIVER ZIG ZAG WALK Walk through the City Botanic Gardens and using the bridges zig zag from one side of the river to the other. After crossing the Go Between Bridge walk along the bike path to North Quay. 4 Finish North Quay THREE BRIDGE WALK Walk along the riverbank crossing from south to north on some of the many bridges. THURSDAY 17 th 9 am - YERONGA, MOOROOKA CIRCUIT - Follow Honour Avenue through Yeronga Park with its plaques depicting names of men and women who lost their lives in World War 1. The walk then continues along quiet streets, laneways and parklands through Yeronga and Moorooka.
