4 Spouse Tours & Events (Prices before April 10) Sunday 6:00-8:00 p.m. Pre-Conference Reception Hyatt Seaview Foyer Sunday night is not usually the kickoff for the conference, but this year the Southern California Chapter of the ABPA wants to welcome all of you to beautiful Long Beach. Spend the evening with the Southern California Chapter and enjoy the light finger food. Margarita Man will be there providing great tasting Margaritas. This reception is open to all registered attendees who want to attend to visit and mingle. Monday 9:00 a.m. 3:30 p.m. Hollywood Tour $50.00/Person The ABPA is proud to offer Los Angeles Best City Tour & Getty Museum via downtown LA to Hollywood sign, Walk of Fame Blvd., Mann s Chinese Theater and a souvenir shopping stop. Sunset strip, Beverly Hills Bel Air (Movie Star Homes), Rodeo Drive, where the rich and famous shop. The J. Paul Getty Museum has panoramic view of the City of Angels, Los Angeles. Designed by award winning architect Richard Meier, the museum has over 700 acres of beautiful landscape gardens and a choice of dining places. Also a great place for a picnic! Monday 12:00-1:30 p.m. Association Luncheon Hyatt Regency Ballroom- $25.00/Person The ABPA luncheon has changed a little this year with not only the business session, but with some of the National and Chapter awards being presented at this time. Good food and fun. Monday 4:30-7:00 p.m. Vendor Reception Hyatt Beacon Ballroom This reception is our traditional meet the vendors event. A cash bar will open at 4:30 pm with light finger food from 6:00-7:00 pm. Afterwards wander out onto Pine Street and enjoy Long Beach s Restaurants and pubs. Tuesday 7:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Catalina Island Tour $50.00/Person Join us for a tour of Catalina Island. Twenty miles off the coast of Southern California is an island that looks much like California did two hundred years ago, a wilderness of oak, cactus, and sage, an island with secluded coves surrounded by ocean with lush kelp forests and abundant sea life. This is Santa Catalina Island, a wilderness preserved for all to enjoy. Yet, Catalina has all the sightseeing, shopping, tours and recreational activities of a modern beach resort. Welcome to Catalina Island, a unique and wonderful destination. This includes a 1-hour boat ride to and from Catalina Island. Tuesday 5:00-10:00 p.m. Annual Dinner Banquet $45.00/Person Hyatt Regency Ballroom The ABPA has had a long-standing tradition of great banquets and fun entertainment. This year will be no exception. We have planned a great meal and a good program along with a fun night. Cash bar will start at 5:00 pm, with the meal beginning at 6:00. Entertainment will be provided by a musical group with Mr. John Hamm; ABPA Southern California Chapter Director, as the lead singer and a great magic show provided by Mr. Steve Nakauchi; ABPA Southern California Chapter Past President. Wednesday 5:00-9:00 p.m. Post Conference Murder Mystery Dinner at the Queen Mary $55.00/Person The ABPA Conference would not be complete without a post conference event. This year we have planned a dinner at the great luxury liner; The Queen Mary. You are invited for a private Murder Mystery Dinner. Following dinner, you can also walk and tour throughout the ship.
