Here is a list of the most important points: ) The printed rates include: Basic Daily Insurance and unlimited mileage. ) Duration of Hire is calculated on a hour clock, eg collection midday, return following day by midday constitutes a one day hire. ) Insurance Excess/Liability Reduction: Basic daily insurance is included in the daily rental rate. An excess is payable in the event of an accident or damage to the vehicle. This excess amount may be reduced by purchasing an optional Liability Reduction plan (payable direct to the rental company on collection of vehicle). A credit card imprint is taken for the bond on initiation of the hire and destroyed at the termination of the hire provided the vehicle is returned in the same condition it left the depot. ) Airport Arrivals/Departures: On arrival guests make their way directly to the rental car counter to check in and collect their vehicle. If an airport counter is not available, alternative instructions will be given in your travel documents. On departure, the vehicle is parked in the rental car allocated parking and keys returned as per instructions in your travel documents. Certain city or ferry locations may charge for drop off outside of regular hours this will be advised at the time of booking confirmation (and payable directly to the rental company). 5) Age Requirements: For most categories, drivers must be 5 years of age or older. For some car categories guests aged 5 years are able to hire a vehicle but a surcharge will apply. Please ask your Kiwiway consultant. 6) Licence: A current valid full driver s licence must be provided in English if the driver s licence from the country of origin is not displayed in English then an official International Driver s Licence must be presented. 7) Other Term & Conditions apply. 10 TERMS & CONDITIONS Passengers are deemed to have read, understood and accepted the following: (Co. No. 56K) (KKKP No. 0/) Package Price Quoted in New Zealand Dollar (NZ$) and payment in Ringgit Malaysia (RM). Validity of prices are seasonal and subject to change without prior notice. Child rates are applicable when child are occupying a room with at least one adult. Deposit & Payment A deposit of RM500 per person is required when booking is made. Receipt for deposit is valid for three () months from the date of issued. The deposit forms part of your final payment. Balance (final payment) must be made 5 days prior to departure. Failure to comply with this may result in an automatic cancellation of your reservations and forfeiture of your deposit. Accommodation Bedding various from hotel to hotel, but the following usually applies : Single consist Queen bed Double consist Queen Bed Twin consist Double Bed & rollaway Bed / Single Beds If a rollaway bed is required, extra charge applies. Most hotel will not put more than one rollaway in a room. Baby cots can be requested in advance and if extra charge applies, passenger must pay directly to hotel. Hotel Check In/Out Times Standard check in time is after 500hrs and check out is before 00hrs Gratuities Suggestion NZ$5 per person per day for driver & guide. Self Drive Touring Any sightseeing tours outlined (eg city sightseeing tours ) or routes described between destinations on a self drive basis are suggestions only. Any attraction or entry fee outlined in the itinerary will however be included. Amendment Charges An administrative fee of RM00 will be charged for each subsequent amendment made after the confirmation. Any other cost arising from the amendment will be borne by the passenger. No amendment can be made within 5 days prior to departure. A change on the entire booking is considered as a cancellation and is subject to cancellation charges. Cancellation Charges You may cancel your booking at any time. Cancellation must be made in writing to avoid any misunderstanding. If your cancellation is received by the Company more than 5 days prior to your departure, forfeiture of the deposit. If your notice of cancellation is received less than 5 days prior to departure, the following cancellation charges will apply. Cancellation Received Cancellation Fee Between to 8 days prior to depaarture : 50% of tour price Between 7 days to departure (NoShow) : 00% of tour price Refund No refund will be made for unused tickets or any other unutilized portion of the inclusions. Request for refund as a result of changes to the package must make in writing and an administrative fee of RM00 per person applies in additional to the supplier's cancellation fee. Refunds are payable only through the original booking agent. General Information The company reserves the right to substitute or alter similarly priced accommodation, services and itineraries when necessary and there shall be no refund in such situation. Responsibility The company acts only as a agent and does not manage or control or operate any suppliers of services.
