1 CCQ Host Clubs:- Bayside, Peninsula & Queensland 22nd - 28th October st State Rally Bundaberg Recreational Precinct 7 Kendall Rd Bundaberg **** Entry on the first day (Monday) will be via University Drive Please address all correspondence to the Secretary Elaine Sutherland Ph: Mob: ejsutherland49@gmail.com I am Col Roles, President of the Sub-Commiee. I ve been a member of the Peninsula Caravan Club for 6 years. I became a qualified Electrician at 18 years of age. Spent the first 6 years of married life living in a caravan and working our way around our great country. Then spent 5 years working for Hammersley Iron in Tom Price, W.A., before returning to Brisbane. I spent 10 years working in Gove, N.T. while helping a mate build a catamaran which we sailed to Airlie Beach 8 years ago. I am Elaine Sutherland, Secretary of the Sub-Commiee My husband and I bought our caravan 19 years ago and used to go away in it two or three mes a year. That was unl we thought it would be more fun if we were in a Caravan Club. At the end of 2009 I phoned a few different Caravan Clubs and in January 2010 we went along to a Picnic with members of the Peninsula Caravan Club, a&ending our first rally as visitors with them in February and later in the year we became members of the club. We have enjoyed all our me up to this day being in the club, making new friends and seeing so many different places not too far from home. Without the club we wouldn t have known some of these places existed. I became Assistant Secretary early in 2011, taking over as Secretary in November 2012 connuing in this role unl October But the person who took over from me le3 the club, so again in October 2015 I took over the posion again which I finished in October I thought I was over with being Secretary, but at the meeng in December 2017 found myself offering to be Secretary for the State Rally for What a challenge it has been, but I know the State Rally is going to be a great success. I have really enjoyed our caravanning life as well as other trips we have done overseas over the years. There have been many memorable moments, too many to menon but apart from our Club, I have enjoyed State Rallies at Toogoolawah, Beaudesert and Nanango as well as the Naonal Rally in Rockhampton in ***I hope everyone who comes along to Bundaberg in October will have a wonderful me.
