Team Security When your team arrives at Rydges Auckland we will provide everyone with their room key which will also allow access to the team room s floor. We can also organise rooming lists and store your equipment and bags securely. Fitness & Leisure Rydges has a fully equipped gym on the third floor which has cardio equipment as well as weight and resistance machines. The gym is open 24 hours and access is with the hotel room key. We can organise a conference space with massage facilities set up and can provide access to the local tepid bath pools just a short walk away from the hotel.

We also have our onsite Audio Visual Technicians (AV Media) who are there to ensure all of your visual and audio needs are taken care of. Below are two conference room floor plans that we found have worked well in the past for our sports groups, which of course you are welcome to alter to cater for your specific requirements.

5 SPORTING VENUES Eden Park Eden Park is New Zealand s largest stadium hosting many of the nation s biggest sporting events attracting large crowds of over 50,000. Eden Park is situated less than 5kms away from the hotel, so Rydges is the perfect choice for any events held there. Mt Smart Stadium Mt Smart is less than a 15 minute drive from Rydges Auckland. It is home to the Vodafone Warriors, Auckland Football Federation and Athletics Auckland so it is a popular venue for a range of sporting events. Vector Arena Vector Arena hosts anything from ice skating shows to netball games to concerts and seminars. Seating up to 12,000 people, it is located just four minutes from the hotel.
