1 Welcome to Issue 5 a Special Charity Edition of our Newsletter. Here at GMSI, we have several staff members who have had family & friends affected by Cancer and some personally affected by Breast Cancer. We agreed as a team that we would support the Wear it Pink Day for Breast Cancer Campaign for 2011, in an effort to raise as much money for the charity as possible. We asked our suppliers and staff for support and have been blown away by the exceedingly generous response of them. Special thanks to our Chairman Mr Michael Bell, who agreed from the offset to double any monies we made. This has made a huge difference to the final total of 2, ,200 raised and 1,200 matched by Mr Michael Bell. 2 Alex Gets His Leg Waxed For Charity!! Mike McColl of Isoclad kindly donated (amongst many other things!!) to get a photo of Alex Stafford (Technical Development Manager) in pain!! Mike suggested some form of waxing and Alex agreed to have a strip of hair removed from his leg. Oh how we laughed and enjoyed the event a little sick I know, but it was great!! Thanks Mike and here is your photo!!! A special thanks to Alex who has been a real sport! Alex has 4 Wax Strips Applied!! Alex s Pained Expression!!! DONUT EATING COMPETITION FOR CHARITY Mike McColl of Isoclad also donated to get a picture of Janice eating as many donuts in a minute as she could. We decided to have a competition amongst the staff to see who would be donut eating champion. The winner was Carl Wilcock, who ate 2.75 Donuts in 1 minute well done Carl!!
