It comprises some 26,000 sq m of commercial space over six floors and 866 car spaces in total spread over four levels. The 4th floor of the property currently houses the Bahrain Bourse (stock-exchange). Harbour Gate links both of the Harbour Towers and other office buildings within the Bahrain Financial Harbour master plan as well as the multi-storey parking. Harbour Gate provides 300 guest and visitor parking spaces with the remainder currently leased to existing office tenants. Entry to the Harbour Towers from the visitors car parks is via lifts to the second floor of Harbour Gate. A new lease has been signed with the MOICT (including the Bahrain Investors Centre) to take 3,700 sq m, covering part of the 2nd and 3rd floors, as well as 5,300 sq m being the whole of the 5th floor of Harbour Gate. This will result in around 400 new tenant staff working here and a substantial increase in the number of visitors. They are expected to commence operations by the 2nd quarter of This will make Harbour Gate a key business destination. 5 A growing attraction makes the Gate attractive to vendors. Due to the expected increased occupancy, Harbour Gate is now an attractive location for a wide range of Quick Service Restaurants and Fast Food outlets on the 2nd floor, as well as Casual Dining food & beverage operations on the 3rd floor to meet the needs of the tenant staff, their guests/visitors and complimentary commercial and services uses. These units already have the required water, drainage and ventilation services enabling plug-n-go on completion of fit out. Some of these units benefit from access to terraces on the south-side of the property.
