1 WHAT IS MEETINGS AFRICA? Meetings Africa is a Pan-African Business Events Trade Show, which has been in existence for 12 years. The Trade Show was born in response to the global meetings industry s growing recognition of Africa as a sought-after premier business events destination. Meetings Africa serves as the primary platform to enable the growth of South Africa and the rest of the continent s business events industry and ultimately contribute towards the continent s economic growth. Meetings Africa is a 2-day trade show with a dedicated Educational Day which is executed in conjunction with the key industry associations (SAACI, SITE, EXSA, Event Greening Forum and ICCA). Standard floor space: R 3028,30 per m² Prime/Corner Floor space: R 3210,00 per m² Discount Structure Loyalty discounts (exhibitors participating for the past five years or longer) 5% Regional African exhibitors and first-time exhibitors 10% Registered TOMSA levy collectors as of 30 June 2016 with all TOMSA levies collected and paid over to TBCSA 10% Registered TGCSA members as of 30 June % Maximum discount is limited to 20% irrespective of how many of the above categories an exhibitor qualifies for. The discount structure will be applied to floor space rates only and not applicable to package options.
