1 2016 DRC MEMBERSHIP PACKAGE DICK REYNOLDS BACKGROUND OF A CHAMPION Dick Reynolds was undoubtedly one of Essendon s favourite sons and ranked No 1 in the Champions of Essendon. Reynolds leadership spanned three decades and his impact reflected on the field and off the field at the Essendon Football Club. Reynolds outstanding record* marks him as a legend in the club s successful and proud history.0 *Seven times EFC Best and Fairest 1934, , Triple Brownlow Medallist 1934, EFC Captain/Coach (10 Grand Final appearances and four premierships 1942, 1946, 1949 & 1950). EFC Coach Victorian Captain 1939 & 1946, Victorian Coach 1959 and ranked No1 in the Champions of Essendon in INTRODUCTION Formed in 1996, the Dick Reynolds Club (DRC) is a non match day coterie of the Essendon Football Club (EFC). It provides a membership outside official club activities and weekend football enabling members and guests to enjoy themselves in a professional, entertaining environment. The DRC is an integral link to the EFC community and provides funds to the EFC Past Players and Officials Association, which supports their involvement in the ongoing activities of EFC and recognises their contribution to the club s great history. The DRC provides you with the opportunity to build your professional networks with other Essendon supporters whilst enjoying premium hospitality and fantastic entertainment.

We invite you to join us at the Essendon Culinary Chairman s & Coteries Function. Members from all of our coterie groups will be present to be recognized for their generous support of the club. 3 DRC COUNTRY ROUND LUNCHEON Thursday 14 th April, Zinc Federation Square, 12:00pm-2:30pm In the lead up to the inaugural Country Game at the MCG in Round 4 we invite all DRC members to join us to celebrate and recognise the incredible contribution of regional communities to Australia. Join special guest Kevin Sheedy as he announces his AFL Country Team of the Century. Located at the Sandhurst Golf Club the day will act as major fundraiser for the Essendon Football Club Past Players Foundation Trust which provides ongoing support of our legends of the past.
