State of the art venue Te Awahou Nieuwe Stroom is uniquely positioned in a stunning environment between Foxton s historic Main Street and the Manawatū River Loop. Just off State Highway One, right by the Manawatū River, you ll find exhibitions, shopping, library, art, cafés, interactive displays, free WiFi, play areas, and more. Enjoy an exciting mix of recreation with a special emphasis on Te Awahou Foxton heritage and environment, Māori and Dutch life and culture, and the people and stories with links to all these. 6

8 Te Awahou Riverside Cultural Park From the park there is easy access to a range of local attractions such as MAVtech (Museum of Audio Visual Technology), Wind Warrior Kite Sports at Foxton Beach, Off the Loop Wakeboard Park, historic sites and second-hand shops. There is easy access to walkways, the river and estuary (which has international wetland Ramsar status for its unique habitat and birdlife) and Foxton Beach. 16 Ngarongo Iwikatea Room Positioned on the mezzanine floor the Ngāronga Iwikātea room overlooks Foxton s Main Street and the Park s grounds. The room boasts fantastic technology with a 70 touch-screen television that has easy laptop connectivity through HDMI and a whiteboard. This is the ideal meeting space for larger groups, with boardroom seating available for up to 40 people. This room can be reset into numerous seating options depending on your booking requirements. In-house catering is available for meetings and conferences. 16

20 Harakeke Room Our easy-access ground floor meeting room can host up to eight people and is a great place for community or corporate client meetings. It houses a large whiteboard and pin board for displaying content. Mobile television available if required. 20

24 Teal Room The Teal Room is positioned on the mezzanine floor overlooking the Manawatū River Loop. The light and bright Teal Room can cater up for to 50 people in a theatre setting, or up to 30 people in a conference room setting, either television screen or whiteboard facing, depending on your requirements. The Teal Room has a 55 monitor with easy laptop connectivity via HDMI and ceiling speakers to boost the sound levels. The view overlooks Foxton s River Loop with the option of adding the terrace for outside break out space. In-house catering is available as well as an in-built kitchen. 24
