Officially opened in March 2010, it is already attracting a wide range of user groups and events from parenting groups, polling station, praise nights and keep fit to kids clubs, conferences, and coffee mornings - we have had them all and more! Located in the heart of Scotland, Auchterarder is ideally situated beside the A9, just 20 minutes drive from both Stirling and Perth. The world famous Gleneagles Hotel and golf courses are on hand, complemented by stunning views of the Ochil Hills, and Perthshire woodlands and rivers. This pack should provide you with all the information you require in order to book your event or meeting here with us. 3 Auchterarder Accommodation... The offers a range of halls and meeting rooms which can cater for a wide variety of events and conferences. The main church also seats 350 in comfortable chairs, and this can be hired too. In addition to the rooms, we also have equipment, seating, tables, sound system and event lighting to make your time with us run smoothly and productively. Centre Hall... With it s spectacular high beamed ceiling, solid oak floor, and 24-channel sound system, this lovely light and spacious area can seat 200 concert style, or 120 seated around banqueting tables. This is a wonderful venue for wedding receptions, concerts, charity events, conferences, and a huge range of other activities. (17m x 18m) Board Room... This is a great meeting room, it has full length glass windows through to the Centre Hall, with blinds, and can be equipped with flip-chart, projector, tables and chairs for that smaller board or team meeting. It can seat 40 cinema style or 20 around tables, and is ideal as a breakout room for a larger conference. (6m x 6m) Garden Room... Located on the rear of the centre, this room has a high ceiling and large windows looking out onto the rear garden & patio area, and the Ochil hills in the distance. The room has Manoleum flooring making it particularly suitable for children s events, and a children s toilet & baby changing area is situated in the coridoor beside. It can seat 50 cinema style or 32 at tables. (7m x 6m) Church Hall... This was part of the existing church building, a sizeable room which can seat 80 cinema style or 48 at tables. It has a painted projection area on the end wall, and arched windows look to the outside, and through to the Centre Hall on the west side. A smaller vestibule area through the double doors at the end can also be used for meetings of up to ten people. (11m x 8m) Kitchen... A fully fitted industrial standard kitchen has hatches opening into the Centre Hall, Garden Room, and Church Hall. In the kitchen there are fridges, a hot cupboard unit, water heaters for coffee & tea, a six-burner gas hob and large oven as well as a push-through dishwasher. We have crockery and cutlery for anything from a soup & roll lunch, through to a large banquet event.

5 Auchterarder Room Hire Prices... Please do contact us to discuss specific prices, timing and availability. For regular repeat bookings we also offer discounted rates. As at May 2010, these are the prices of room hire costs - all prices quoted are per hour: Community Groups / Charities Room Individual / Church Members Commercial / Business Centre Hall ( 200 Half Day / 320 Full Day) Board Room ( 150 Half Day / 240 Full Day) Garden Room ( 60 Half Day / 80 Full Day) Kitchen Half Day / 50 Full Day Church Hall Lounge Area Main Church ( 300 Half Day / 500 Full Day)
6 Auchterarder Terms And Conditions... The following terms and conditions apply from the date of the attached letter or correspondence. When Auchterarder (ACCC) receives confirmation from you, you are accepting these terms and conditions. You are the person, firm or Company booking the event. Payment The applicant will be held personally responsible for payment of all charges in respect of the let. All one off events must be paid for by cash, cheque or a bankers draft which is acceptable to ACCC. Credit facilities can be applied for but will only be allowable on receipt of a signed Purchase Order or confirmation in writing. A deposit of 10 % will be required to confirm the booking. If payment is not received within 7 days the booking may be cancelled. All invoices should be paid on receipt. For regular weekly, fortnightly or monthly events an invoice will be raised at the end of each month to be paid within 14 days. Cancellations In the event of a cancellation for any reason ACCC will make a charge as per the amounts stated below: Cancellation more than 4weeks before the room hire no charge Cancellation between 4 weeks and 2 weeks before room hire 20% of the total bill Cancellation between 2 weeks and 48 hours before the room hire 40% of the total bill Cancellation less than 48 hours before the room hire 80% of the total bill A cancellation fee equivalent the total bill will be charged for non arrival Personal Property ACCC will not accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal property. Property left in ACCC is at your own risk. Storage of Equipment ACCC will help you store equipment, where space permits, but cannot accept liability for loss or damage to it. Damage The applicant will be responsible for any damage to the Centre, equipment, furnishings or fittings and any property lost as a direct result of the event taking place and will be required to meet the cost of reparation in full. Finishing times Any room hire must finish at the time agreed when the booking is made. An additional charge may be made if the room hire goes on later than this. Measures shall be taken to ensure times are strictly adhered to, e.g. Bar/Discos should cease 30 minutes before the end of the booking time to allow for drinking up and clearing up and cleaning. Setup & Catering Final numbers for room hire and catering must be given to ACCC at least 48 hours prior to the booking taking place. The amount invoiced by ACCC will be based on the final numbers given or the numbers attending, whichever is the greater. Safety, First Aid, and Licensing Organisers of the event should acquaint themselves with the location of fire points, emergency exit doors, light switches, and the nearest telephone. It is the responsibility of the organiser to arrange for first aid facilities/personel throughout the duration of the event. With any let involving the sale of goods, the applicant is responsible for ensuring the correct license, if any, is obtained. Contact should be made with the Licensing Board, Perth & Kinross Council, 2 High St, Perth, PH1 5PH, where all license requirements and procedures will be explained. General Liability ACCC will not be legally responsible if they do not provide the services in this contract due to the following circumstances: Industrial action by the staff of one of ACCC s major suppliers Fire,lightning,explosion,riot,civil commotion,malicious damage, storm, flood, burst pipe, earthquake and the centre being damaged by anything Postal bookings which do not reach us. Breakdown of machinery, or failure to supply ACCC with gas, electricity water and so on out with the control of ACCC If any of the above occurs ACCC will do their best to avoid any inconvenience to you, your employees or guests.
