2 CONFERENCE INFORMATION Welcome We welcome your interest in the 2016 AMPLA Annual Conference Sponsorship Programme. Now in our 40th year, AMPLA has reviewed its sponsorship packages and increased the benefits to sponsors under the Programme, this year introducing a Dinner Sponsorship Package. While a key objective is to build brand awareness and to provide sponsors with opportunities to integrate their sponsorship into their customer relationship and marketing programmes, the 2016 packages will deliver sponsors greater value for money. AMPLA aims to inform, develop and connect resources and energy lawyers through collegiate networking, education events and vital publications and we invite you to be part of the Sponsorship Programme. 9 2016 AMPLA ANNUAL CONFERENCE TERMS AND CONDITIONS Generally Applicable 1) A contract of sponsorship will be deemed to have been formed upon written communication by AMPLA (by or letter) to the applicant that the applicant s Sponsorship Application has been accepted. 2) Each contract of sponsorship is subject to the terms and conditions set out in this brochure, including as described for the relevant category of sponsorship in respect of which the Sponsorship Application has been submitted. 3) An applicant is not entitled to favourable treatment of its representatives or employees for speaking positions at the conference. 4) No representative of AMPLA other than the AMPLA President or Executive Director may make any binding representation or agreement varying these terms and conditions in respect of any applicant. 5) The sponsorship fee is due for payment by a successful applicant on or before the date specified by AMPLA when communicating acceptance of the applicant s Sponsorship Application. 6) Benefits will only commence upon full payment of the sponsorship fee unless otherwise agreed by AMPLA in its absolute discretion. 7) Notwithstanding any other provision in these terms and conditions, it is within the discretion of AMPLA if it allows one party to be both the Principal and Dinner sponsor. Principal Sponsorship 1) The Principal Sponsorship is available to one law firm, one corporate sponsor and one government/other sponsor. 2) The Principal Sponsorship will be awarded in each category to the first completed application for Principal Sponsorship received by AMPLA, by or or other means to Suite 7.13, level 7, 365 Little Collins Street, Melbourne 3000 after 1pm EST on 16 June ) AMPLA s decision is final. AMPLA will notify each applicant in writing (by or letter).
