4 ABOUT OUR BOSTON GALA The Pratham Boston Gala has become one of the premier social events in the greater Boston area. Attendees of the annual event include prominent business and community leaders, leading educators and researchers, corporate sponsors and individual philanthropists with a commitment to improving child literacy in India. The 2016 gala was held at Boston s waterfront InterContinental Hotel on September 23. The event, which was attended by 230 guests, raised over $300,000 for Pratham s award-winning programs. This year s gala will return to the InterContinental on Friday, September 29, with over 250 guests expected to attend.
