This information document will describe how to procure the hardware, software, software options, database subscriptions and service subscriptions. This document includes a System Description plus 6 attachments: Attachment 1 : Ordering Link-2000 / ATN ATC Attachment 2 : Ordering ARINC 702A AOC Messaging including Flight Plans Attachment 3 : Ordering Single & Dual FANS Attachment 4 : Ordering Graphical Weather Attachment 5 : Ordering EAKs Attachment 6 : Loading EAKs Detail Rockwell Collins Data Link Communication System (DLCS) provides the following configurable functions: Aeronautical Telecommunications Network (ATN) Air Traffic Control (ATC) o ATN operation in the RIU/CMU ARINC 702A Aeronautical Operational Control (AOC) Message capability, including Flight Plans o ARINC 702 message transfer to the FMC Single Future Air Navigation System (FANS) data link communication o FANS operation of DLCA-6000 in the FMC-6200 Dual Future Air Navigation System (FANS) data link communication o FANS operation of DLCA-6000 in two FMC-6200 modules Graphical Weather Uplinks o GWX prompt on the CDU

It houses the DLCA (Data Link Communication Application) and FMS (Flight Management System). The FMC-6200 fits into an IAPS cabinet and replaces existing FMC-6000s. ECU External Compensation Unit stores the keys for the purchased options for DLCA and RIU. RIU XX One or two (Dual Units) of RIU- 4000/RIU- 4010/CMU-4000 Required Radio Interface Unit (RIU) Supports Communication Management Functions per ARINC 758, ARINC 750 radio interface, VDL Mode 2 (AOA and ATN), radio interface function and cockpit aural alerts. RIU XX One or two (Dual Units) of RIU- 4000/RIU- 4010/CMU-4000 Required CMU XX One or two (Dual Units) of RIU /RIU-4010/CMU Required Radio Interface Unit (RIU) Supports Communication Management Functions per ARINC 758, ARINC 750 radio interface, VDL Mode 2 (AOA and ATN), radio interface function and cockpit aural alerts. Communication Management Unit (CMU) Supports Communication Management Functions per ARINC 758, ARINC 750 radio interface, and VDL Mode 2 (AOA and ATN). NOTE: Until notification that third party support is available, the GWXK-6200 and FPLK-6200 EAKs should be ordered directly from Rockwell Collins.

3 Attachment 1: Ordering Link-2000 / ATN ATC System The ATN ATC Data Link function (ATN-6200) provides LINK compatible Controller-Pilot Data Link Communications (CPDLC). The Rockwell Collins LINK is a system for direct data link communication between the aircraft and an Air Traffic Control (ATC) Center. Hardware/Software pre-requisites: RIU-4000, CPN XX, or RIU-4010, CPN XX, or CMU 4000, CPN XX ECU-3000, CPN VHF-4000, CPN EAK pre-requisite Order the following part number from Rockwell Collins: ATN-6200 (EAK), CPN See contract equipment list - specific hardware part numbers will be provided on the aircraft contract. See Attachment 5 for instructions on ordering EAKs. See Attachment 6 for instructions on loading EAKs.

4 Attachment 2: Ordering ARINC 702A AOC Messaging including Flight Plans ARINC 702A AOC Messages function (FPLK-6200) provides the owner/operator the ability to uplink non-safety critical, operations messages from the ground directly to the aircraft FMS. FMC ARINC 702A AOC Messages (from ARINC 702A-1) include: AOC Message Name FPC FLIGHT PLAN FPN FLIGHT PLAN ALT ALTERNATE DATA LDI LOAD INFORMATION LIM PERFORMANCE LIMITS DATA NDB AIRLINE DATABASE PER PERFORMANCE INITIALIZATION POS POSITION PWI PREDICTED WIND DATA PWM PREDEICTED WIND MODIFICATION REQ REQUEST TAC TAR Description Flight plan information supplied by ATC Flight plan information generated by airline/operations department Contains alternate airport information generated by airline/operations department Contains load information for takeoff generated by airline/operations department Contains performance limits data from airline/operations department Contains supplemental navigation database, etc. Contains performance data generated by the airline/operations department Contains specific triggers for automatic position report information Contains climb, alternate, en route and /or descent wind Contains wind data Contains a type of request (FPN/FPC, PER, LDI, POS, PRG, PRF, XXX) RESERVED RESERVED Hardware/Software pre-requisites: RIU-4000, CPN XX, or RIU-4010, CPN XX, or CMU 4000, CPN XX FMC-6200, CPN ECU-3000, CPN VHF-4000, CPN See contract equipment list - specific hardware part numbers will be provided on the aircraft contract. EAK required When requesting service through an Avionics Service to acquire ARINC 702A AOC messaging; the service provider will order an encryption key (EAK) from Rockwell Collins to enable 702A AOC messaging on the aircraft. Once an EAK has been delivered - see Attachment 6 for instructions on loading EAKs. NOTE: Until notification that this process is available, the EAKs should be ordered directly from Rockwell Collins.

5 Attachment 3: Ordering Single & Dual FANS The FANS ATC DATALINK function (FAN-6200) enables a FANS-1/A compatible function that provides CPDLC, ADS, AFN capability. The communications include air traffic control clearances, pilot requests and position reporting. The DUAL FANS ATC DATALINK (DLC-6200) provides a cold spare as a redundant backup to the primary data link (FANs) software application. Hardware/Software pre-requisites: FANS ATC DATALINK function (FAN-6200) Hardware/Software pre-requisites: RIU-4000, CPN XX, or RIU-4010, CPN XX, or CMU 4000, CPN XX FMC-6200, CPN ECU-3000, CPN VHF-4000, CPN and/or, SDU , CPN DUAL FANS ATC DATALINK (DLC-6200), additionally Second FMC-6200 module, CPN EAK pre-requisite Order the following part number from Rockwell Collins: FANS ATC DATALINK function (FAN-6200) FAN-6200 (EAK), CPN for Tech Insert Platforms or DUAL FANS ATC DATALINK (DLC-6200) DLC-6200 (EAK), CPN for Tech Insert Platforms or See contract equipment list - specific hardware part numbers will be provided on the aircraft contract. See Attachment 5 for instructions on ordering EAKs. See Attachment 6 for instructions on loading EAKs.

6 Attachment 4: Ordering Graphical Weather Services The ability to view worldwide graphical weather features requires the use of both the IFIS, to support displaying the requested images on the multi-function display (MFD), and Data Link, to send requests for images and to receive and route the images. Graphical Weather Subscription Details: Rockwell Collins information document, IDOC , Rockwell Collins Integrated Flight Information System (IFIS) Details and Procurement, provides more detailed information on the process to procure the IFIS hardware, software, software options, and database subscriptions. EAK requirement - Additionally, when requesting service through an Avionics Service Provider (Universal, XM, Honeywell GDC, etc.) to acquire graphical weather service, the service provider will obtain an encryption key from Rockwell Collins to enable graphical weather on the aircraft. Once an EAK has been delivered - see Attachment 6 for instructions on loading EAKs. NOTE: Until notification that this process is available, the EAKs should be ordered directly from Rockwell Collins.

7 Attachment 5: Ordering EAKs The operator, OEM, or dealer can request an activation key (EAK) from Rockwell Collins. Include the following details when requesting an EAK to the Rockwell Collins Customer Account Administration ( ): Desired keys by part number and description. Electronic Control Unit (ECU) serial number. o o Located on ECU hardware unit nameplate. If Dual RIU/CMUs and ECUs are installed then only one set of EAKs need to be ordered. Serial Number of one of the ECUs to be provided (e.g. serial number of ECU connected to the left RIU/CMU). Programming one RIU/CMU will automatically program the other one (when both are powered on). Aircraft manufacturer, aircraft type, serial number, and tail number. Service provider (Only required for Graphical Weather & ARINC 702A AOC Messaging). Duration the customer desires EAK to be active. Company name. Contact information. Shipping Address. Graphical Weather & AOC Messages including Flight Plans requires a subscription through the service provider, and all other services require a subscription through Rockwell Collins. An EAK license is considered valid when the EAK provider ID matches the Airline ID, the ECU serial number and the expiration date has not been passed. An advisory (LICENSE*) at Line Select 6R will be displayed if one or more licenses has expired or is about to expire within 30 days. Selection of the LICENSE* active advisory will display the LICENSE ALERT page where the LICENSE STATUS page can be accessed as well: LICENSE STATUS page contains information about License names, expiration dated and their current status (ENABLED or DISABLED). Once the expiration date has passed, functions related to each license will be disabled. See Attachment 6 for instructions on loading EAKs.

8 Attachment 6 : Loading EAKs The following demonstrate the steps needed to enter an EAK into an ECU-3000 attached to an RIU- 4000/RIU-4010/CMU Instructions shown are from a simulated environment (CL300). Please contact Rockwell Collins Customer Support for additional information. 1. Power up the Avionics System (not including CMU, APM) to normal operation. 2. Power up the RIU/CMU for the first time in its new configuration (New ECU or both new). 3. If Dual RIU/CMUs are installed, then power up both of them. 4. Allow approximately two minutes for the RIU/CMU to power up and acquire the data from an already configured ECU or for the RIU/CMU to compare its persistent copy of the ECU data to the data stored in the ECU, if any valid data is present. The RIU/CMU may be required to reset itself once to do this. This happens automatically and is only necessary the first time the RIU/CMU powers up after being replaced or data loaded. When Dual RIU/CMUs are installed, once they are powered up, information will be exchanged between the two so they are in sync. 5. Access the Top Level RIU/CMU page from one of the CDUs. If the DL -APPLICATION MENU page is not displayed, press <RETURN (LSK 6L) until this page is displayed.

9 6. Press TECHNICAL>, then PASSWORD>, then enter the 4-digit system time (do not enter the : ) as displayed at the lower center of the display. Press PASSWORD. This should display the PROTECTED MENU page. If the PROTECTED MENU page is not displayed, re-enter the 4-digit system time and press PASSWORD again.

10 7. Press <APM MENU. The APM MENU page provides access to the License Manager Menu page. 8. Press <LICENSE MGR to display the LICENSE MANAGER. The LICENSE MANAGER page allows the user to add EAKs to the system.

11 9. Enter 13 character alphanumeric key into the scratchpad, and then push the LICENSE KEY. 10. Press *VALIDATE to validate EAK entered. A KEY ADDED message will be shown adjacent to key MSG: if the EAK is valid.

12 If the EAK is not valid INVALID KEY message will be shown adjacent to key MSG:. Repeat point 9 and 10 until all the EAKs have been validated/ added. 11. *WRITE prompt is displayed after at least one License Key (EAK) is added. Selection of *WRITE will display the APM WRITE ALERT page. Selection of *WRITE will cause the MU to program the APM with the new data and reset the system for the new changes to take effect.

13 12. After the APM is programmed (system reset occurs), verify license updates at LICENSE STATUS page which is accessed as described below. Press TECHNICAL>, LICENSE> and confirm that the required feature is ENABLED
