7 MD500 LED Start Pump Light Skye Avionics has received an STC to replace OEM p/n 369H Start Pump Light on the MD500 Helicopter. This STC replaces the OEM start pump light with an LED making the part more durable and cost efficient. The current OEM light is $1,395 our part is 40 percent less which means substantial savings for the customer. Not only is our part going to save you money upfront, but also the lifespan of the LED will far surpass that of the current light. The LED light features stronger durability making it less susceptible to breakage and it and has a quick and easy installation process. The light is FAA and Transport Canada STC d. 8 SATELLITE TRACKING Skye Avionics is the Exclusive Canadian Distributor for spidertracks $1495 USD Portable GPS and Iridium antennas are integrated no external aerials required. The Spider plugs into the aircraft cigarette lighter outlet for quick interchange between aircraft/vehicles, or it can be hardwired. No STC required. Iridium Satellite Network Global coverage is provided in real-time by 66 low earth orbit satellites, with information reaching the website in as little as 5 seconds. SOS The SOS button on the keypad can be used in an emergency to send instant alert messages to your pre-set emergency contacts. Watch Actively track the aircraft as it sends position reports to the website. Geofence Specify tracking boundaries in up to five circular areas and set custom update rates or suspend position reports automatically when inside these areas. This can reduce the cost of operation when flying in areas where tracking is not necessary. Spidertracks AFF/API Allows you to send tracking data to third parties in real time, including US Forest Service, or share information with maintenance tracking software. Altitude Events Know when something isn t right. Your aircraft can now alert you to changes in altitude and send position updates in real time. Onboard Memory Looking for more detail? The new S6 collects more flight data for you to analyse. Spidertxt Send and receive SMS messages via your Spider by connecting an Android or ios device through Bluetooth. Bluetooth GPS The Spider can send GPS data to your mobile devices, allowing your navigation apps to work reliably in any location. Radius Radius suspends position reports in a defined circular area around your current location. Normal tracking will resume once you leave that area. The radius distance can be customized online. 11 CUSTOM RADIO PACKAGES Skye Avionics can assist in designing and engineering a custom radio package that will suit your needs and budget. We can then fabricate the harness in the shop, making for an easy installation process on the aircraft. As an example, we recently fabricated a complete new avionics package for a Bell 412. This included 3 Audio Panels, 2 VHF and 2 FM Radios, Satphone, 11 Passenger Positions, Transponder/Encoder, Portable FM Provisions A scale pedestal was fabricated and the entire harness prepared in the shop. Installation time on the helicopter from start to ring out, string tied, clamped, power on & functional tests done - 5 days!
