1 April 2018 AIRBUS CABINS Passenger at Heart, Airline in Mind Flying is not just travelling; it should be a highlight of any trip, which is why providing the best passenger experience is a major Airbus design goal. Its cabins are designed to meet diverse passenger expectations, delivering comfort and efficiency, and ensuring airlines have a versatile space to meet changing market needs. Only Airbus offers airlines the opportunity to efficiently cover the full spectrum of passenger needs. With Airbus, airlines offer the best on-board products, concerning either personal space or passenger services such as in-flight entertainment and internet connectivity. Airspace by Airbus In 2016 Airbus unveiled a new cabin brand to highlight our commitment to both passenger experience and airline performance. In 2017 we revealed the new Airspace Interior for the A320 Family, so the world s best-selling single-aisle aircraft now offers the same standards in cabin design as our long-haul A350 XWB and A330neo. Announced at the APEX Expo last September, the launch customer on the A320 Family will be JetBlue, whose pioneering track record in customer experience will set another benchmark with Airspace in Airspace by Airbus represents the best of Airbus cabin innovation and design, and promises cabins which are more relaxing, inspiring, convenient and beautiful. The award-winning interior of the A350 XWB provides the inspiration and style guide for the brand new cabins of A330neo and the A320 Family, entering service in 2018 and 2020 respectively. These new cabins fully encompass the pillars of the Airspace by Airbus brand: Comfort, Ambience, Services and Design. Tangible advantages in these four domains support airline operations as much as they please passengers; a great example being the new XL overhead stowage bins for A320 Family, which will enter service with American Airlines in Moreover, these are visibly Airbus cabins which act as partners offering consistent standards across an airline fleet. The design language showcased in Airspace interiors is special. The signature details and iconic elements are consistently recognisable throughout the cabin. The use of straight lines, clean shapes and clear surfaces that add to the feeling of spaciousness and quality. Above all, it is a space for passengers and crew to enjoy, and which for the airlines becomes a flexible canvas onto which they can project their own brand. A320 Family efficiency with flexibility Taking advantage of the A320's optimized cross-section, seven inches wider than the B737, operators can choose the cabin product that fits their market: from a wider 18-inch seat for more

2 personal space to a wider aisle for faster boarding and deplaning, allowing reduced turnaround times of 20 minutes or less. The more spacious cabin environment also comes with more overhead stowage volume. The new Airspace XL Bins offer the largest capacity in the market with 40% more volume than the current generation bins and up to 60% more trolley bags (due to vertical stowage). The A320 cabin comfort and efficiency are constantly improving through innovation. New efficiency enablers allow maximizing the space that can be allocated to seating. As a result, airlines can provide to their passenger more comfort or fit additional seats in the cabin. - Space-Flex is a rear lavatory & galley arrangement which converts unused cabin space in the rear bulkhead into revenue space. It allows airlines to gain up to 6 seats as well as offer the first lavatory in the single-aisle market accessible to persons with reduced mobility. - Smart-Lav, a new optimised lavatory, allows airlines to recover the maximum useable cabin length. Functionality and key dimensions are preserved, while space is saved through redesign and reorganisation of the interior elements. This enables additional seating or more comfort through increased pitch or more recline. - Ceiling stowage is a new compartment that is integrated in the centre ceiling and available in up to three locations and two sizes. It offers additional stowage for emergency equipment, crew luggage and miscellaneous items. This contributes positively to passenger comfort by freeing space in the cabin and overhead bins. - A new longitudinal galley at the forward door. This new concepts allows opening up the forward part of the cabin by removing the partition wall in the forward part of the cabin. Opening up this space allows expanding the cabin forward hence providing additional seating space. - A special seat concept at the overwing exits (called Xtend seat). This concept allows preserving comfort at the seat rows located at emergency passageways while optimizing the space allocation between the seat rows around it. - A new setup at the aft door including a cocoon partition behind the last seat row and a modified Space-Flex version with two cabin attendant seats. This new setup allows expanding the cabin space further aft, while preserving the privacy and comfort of passengers seated in the area. The longitudinal galley, the Xtend seat, the cocoon partition and the modified Space-Flex are the Innovative Cabin Enablers (ICE) phase 2. Along with the latest certification for A320 Family forward and aft doors, ICE phase 2 expands the capacity of the A320 and A321 to 194 seats and 244 seats respectively. As a further commitment to Passenger Experience and Airline Operations, a new Airspace Interior will be introduced in It offers a number of features for unmatched passenger comfort and airline operational efficiency as well as facilitating easy customization for enhanced airline branding. The Airspace Interior for A320 Family includes:

3 - The Largest Overhead Storage Compartment (OHSC) in its Class: Called the Airspace XL Bin, it not only allows eight instead of five bags per four-frame bin, but also accommodates bigger and heavier bags stowed vertically. - Iconic Ceiling Lighting: Featuring a fully customized on-board luminary experience, that begins at the entrance with a welcoming ambience and continues throughout the aircraft with variable lighting features. - New Sidewall Panels with increased cabin width at shoulder level for extra personal space. - A new Window Bezel: The new fully-integrated window shades provide passengers a larger unobstructed view through the window, evoking the feel of the A A new Lavatory Design: The new spacious design also features coloured lighting, along with anti-bacterial coatings, aroma, sound and optional touchless options. - Coloured LED Lighting: Leveraging 16.4 million colour options, the new custom-cabin mood lighting creates a personalized in-flight experience throughout the cabin. - A new entrance area with a customizable welcome light feature for a unique boarding experience. - An updated colour scheme Jana White, in line with A350 XWB and A330neo. A330 an ever improving travel experience Across the A330 Family, First and Business Class passengers are rewarded with their preferred window or aisle seats. The eight-abreast seating layout in Comfort Economy ensures that no passenger is more than one seat from the aisle while offering the best in class seat comfort with 18 wide seats. To help airlines lower unit costs to capture the most price sensitive passengers, a nine-abreast Economy with 17 seat width is available and to help airlines maximize revenues, a seven-abreast Premium Economy can be offered as well. Overall, the A330 cabin is widely recognised as one of the best in the sky being quieter than competition, supporting the latest in-flight entertainment, including video-on-demand, mobile telephony and internet connection via satellite. Passengers on board the A330 can also enjoy state-of-the-art full coloured LED lighting featuring appealing ambient lighting scenarios creating a pleasant flying environment as well as helping reducing jetlag. A330neo new Airspace interior The A330neo will feature new Airspace cabin, driven by consumer-centric development and drawing on the success of A350 XWB. The A330neo cabin will have new lateral bins with 66% more bag capacity, fourth generation IFE & connectivity platforms, the latest Galley Inserts (same as on A350 XWB), refreshed lavatories with improved features, and upgraded cabin management system (CIDS).

4 In a nutshell, the A330neo passengers and crew can look forward to an experience which builds on the current benchmark for medium-sized aircraft cabins the A350 XWB to offer the very best cabin for the foreseeable future in such an aircraft. With Airspace, the A330neo and the A350 XWB provide the same flying experience, enabling both aircraft to work together in the same fleet. Along with this new cabin, new innovative enablers are also being introduced on A330neo to maximize seat count without compromising passenger comfort: - Smart-Lav and new double centre lavatories, with optimized lavatories maximizing available cabin length for installation of seats; - Angled-wall double lavatory offering optimized lavatory tailored to nine-abreast economy class; - Modular Space-Flex to maximize space usage aft of Door 4 with a combination of lavatories (up to four lavatories and offering PRM* capability) and galleys (up to 20.5 trolleys); - Lower-deck crew rest combining rest area for cabin crew as well as flight crew. * PRM stands for People with Reduced Mobility. A350 XWB: the Xtra that makes the difference The A350 XWB benefits from Airbus most advanced technology, much of which is now being made available across the Airbus product range. The Xtra Wide Body fuselage enables generous space in all classes and 18 wide seats for the nine-abreast Comfort Economy class. To help airlines lower unit costs to capture the most price sensitive passengers, a 10-abreast Economy class is available and to help airlines maximize revenues, an eight-abreast seating for the growing Premium Economy segment is also offered. Being the Airspace founding member, the A350 XWB cabin design with its smooth curves, flowing lines and innovative lighting also generates a pleasant and soothing atmosphere. The A350 XWB cabin has been recognized in 2016 by two prestigious design awards: Red Dot and IF Design. Throughout the flight, the passengers will enjoy the quietest cabin in its class, and the lowest cabin altitude alongside a full LED ambient lighting. Passenger selecting a window seat will always benefit from the outside view provided by the larger panoramic windows. Larger overhead stowage bins provide space for more carry-on baggage in every class, and enables room-like spaciousness in Business class with the removal of the centreline overhead stowage. The first wave of enablers is also being delivered very successfully to increase seat count and cabin efficiency without impacting the passenger comfort:

5 - Smart-Lav, an optimized lavatory, which allows maximizing the available cabin length to install more seats more than 30% selection rate (already flying with more than two customers); - ICE* Rear Galley, a combination of two longitudinal galleys (16 trolleys) and two lavatories, for an optimized use of the floor space available aft of Door 4 more than 40% selection rate (first deliveries this year); - Optimized centre six-trolley galley, that allows 20% extra catering capacity more than 20% selection rate (first deliveries this year); - Optimized lateral three-trolley galley allowing to minimize floor space used while maintaining the volume available for food and drink storage selected by two customers (first delivery this year); Airbus is continuously working on introducing new cabin efficiency enablers to improve seat count by +7YC on -900 and +9YC on -1000: - New D1 XL: new large galleys fwd Door1 (up-to four extra trolleys) and premium 50 lavatories fwd D1 (outside revenue space) and new pilot crew rest - New D4 XL: new large galleys aft D4 (six extra trolleys) (Note: ICE stands for Innovative Cabin Enablers.) A380 unbeatable passenger experience Customers operating the A380 are not only carrying more passengers at a new comfort level, but are also doing so in the most eco-efficient way, while generating the most revenue. The flagship A380 s greater floor space enables airlines to offer passengers in every class an unmatched comfort standard. The unique widebody double-deck arrangement provides extra seating capacity at the same time as improving the passenger experience. The A380 s typical 10-abreast economy already offers an outstanding comfort with a seat width of up to 19. Airbus ability to offer efficient choices for Premium Economy and Economy extends also to A380, with new options at nine-abreast and 11-abreast respectively. Meanwhile, with even 11-abreast allowing 18 between the armrests confirms the A380 continues to offer the best standards in every class. In addition, cabin enablers like new forward and rear stairs, cabin-flex, combined forward lower deck crew rest allow to further increase A380 efficiency and economics while maintaining the A380 unique comfort level. The optimised cabin layout based on the cabin enablers allows up to 80 additional seats with no compromise on comfort. Well-Being on-board

6 Passenger well-being is driven by a range of factors, including environmental parameters which require optimum management during flight. Airbus continues to lead the way in providing conditions inside the cabin that favour well-being. Frequently, the systems providing this carefully controlled environment go unnoticed, as they work to provide comfortable conditions as good as those in our everyday lives. Building on its cabin engineering excellence, Airbus latest Airspace cabins naturally deliver well-being through their Comfort, Ambience, Services and Design attributes, which are the foundation of the cabin design philosophy. Airbus aircraft have the quietest cabins in the sky, which greatly contributes to passengers being rested on reaching their destination. The A380 leads the way with the very quietest cabin, and the Airbus family in general performs substantially better than competing aircraft in this important aspect of passenger comfort. A330 and A350 are quieter overall than competing aircraft, and as much as 9dB quieter in the premium cabin. 3dB quieter means half the noise energy. Temperature is controlled via the Flight Attendant Panel. On Airbus aircraft, the cabin crew work with a greater number of separate zones. This allows them to more precisely control the temperature throughout the aircraft, and adapt to the effects of different flight conditions and numbers of passengers on board. Good temperature control is essential to passenger comfort, especially on longer flights where passengers might want to sleep. Effective cabin air conditioning is a major factor in maintaining passenger comfort, with advanced environmental control systems maintaining an airy, yet draft-free, environment. The air in the aircraft cabin is completely replaced every two to three minutes with filtered outside air and filtered recirculated air. The fresh air flow rate is important for comfort and odour suppression. The Airbus Air Management system ensures a high rate of fresh air flow which is properly adjusted according to cabin layout, and delivers more fresh air per passenger on widebody aircraft. On the ground, Airbus unique Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) converter keeps cabin air free of the kerosene odours around the airport. A further contributor to passenger well-being is the suppression of unwelcome microbes in the cabin environment. Cabin air distribution is designed to eliminate fore and aft flow of air. Hospital grade HEPA filters remove per cent of particulate and organic matter, including microbes, from the air which is recirculated. Furthermore Airbus lavatory designs feature antimicrobial surfaces and touchless controls, to further reduce the spread of microbes. Airbus was the first to introduce ambient mood lighting as a factory fit option on a commercial aircraft in 2001, an option that is now widely adopted. Today, not only do all Airbus aircraft offer full white LED cabin lighting, but also colour LED ambient lighting with up to 16 million colours. Particularly beneficial on longer flights, ambient lighting comes as standard on every A350 XWB. As well as supporting airline brands, lighting scenarios use colours, brightness levels and dynamic transitions to provide the right cabin atmosphere in all flight phases. Lighting scenarios

7 can help passengers to deal with the effects of jet lag by, for example, simulating sunrise or sunset. State of the art In-Flight Entertainment All Airbus aircraft, from the short to medium range A320 Family up to ultra-long range A380, can be fitted with the latest state-of-the-art In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) systems offering individual screens with audio and video on demand throughout the cabin. Passengers can control through touch screen control units their individual High Definition screen (up to 13.3 in economy class) and enjoy live satellite television broadcasts, outside views from landscape cameras or access the internet. With the latest generation of IFE products, intelligent integration into the seat preserves passengers' legroom and also gives them the ability to connect their personal electronic devices. Not only can they re-charge their devices, but can complement the airline's entertainment offer with their own content. In its quest for more robust IFE systems which ensure reliability, deliver the smartest in-seat integration and offer the best passenger legroom, Airbus already offers the next generations of IFE: Right from entry into service, the A350 XWB offers the first ever genuine fourth generation IFE platform and thus outperforms other aircraft in terms of passenger comfort and viewing, whilst providing lower life-cycle cost for the airlines. The 'future-proof' IFE of the A350 XWB delivers high-definition content to all passengers and a leaner physical integration thanks to its simpler architecture. For example, the A350 XWB is the only aircraft which maintains a flat cabin floor, free of the bumps that IFE installation typically causes. The A320 which also benefits from a new genuine fourth generation IFE platform, called Universal Platform which entered into service in Fourth generation IFE products are also on offer on all other Airbus aircraft types. Finally, Airbus is the only airframer to offer new, lighter, cost-effective, and simpler IFE systems in production, for instance those based on a seat-centric architecture, now on offer on all Airbus aircraft families. On-board wireless services are now offerable on all Airbus aircraft types. They provide passengers with the possibility to access an on-board portal (intranet) by WiFi from their own personal electronic devices, opening the door for new airline services. Airbus has the most advanced and the most comprehensive IFE and on-board wireless offerings on the market, with five different suppliers providing a wealth of choice across Airbus product line. Airbus, the richest in-flight connectivity offering, in production, on all aircraft Internet access, texting, and social networks are now a reality for passengers, as airlines are deploying in flight connectivity en-masse. More than 100 airlines, from all profiles and all regions have now committed to connectivity. In the last six years, more than 80 airlines have committed to connectivity as a line-fit installation in Airbus production lines, and retrofit commitments through Airbus are soaring. Two thirds of A380 operators and all A350 XWB aircraft will connect

8 in flight. A330 operator follow a similar trend, and A320 customers are more and more opting for connectivity in production line with the introduction of Ka & Ku-Band. Connectivity also enables airlines to continue to communicate personally with passengers inflight (e.g. by SMS or through social networks) and potentially to generate ancillary revenues. It serves airline operations communications, accessible wirelessly from cabin crew devices, such as crew mail, digital cabin logbook, documentation viewing, telemedicine, credit card authentication, on board rescheduling of traveller flight connections - with further applications coming such as e-operations, predictive maintenance, etc. within the frame of Skywise. Airbus pioneered connectivity, anticipating the large scale airline uptake now taking place. It was the first manufacturer to receive certification for its on-board mobile phone system in June 2007, and since 2010, Airbus operators have been able to offer both high-speed internet access and mobile telephony, worldwide. In the same vein, the A350 XWB is the first and only "digital native" aircraft offering line fit connectivity since its entry into service, with three connectivity solutions (L-Band/SwiftBroadBand, Ku-Band, and Ka-Band). Airbus offers by far the most comprehensive choice of connectivity solutions as illustrated by the selection of new connectivity suppliers. Operators can now choose from six different suppliers (Panasonic, Thales, Airbus, Zii, Rockwell Collins, Gogo) and three different technologies (Lband/SBB, Ku-Band, and Ka-Band) across the Airbus family, including Single Aisle. By offering High Bandwidth Connectivity solutions on a multi technology, multi supplier, multi program basis, with the aim to mix and match different IFE and Connectivity suppliers, Airbus is supporting maximum customer choice. * * *
