1 Final Guidelines for EVS28 Participants We welcome you to the EVS28! Under the theme of "e-motional Technology for Humans," the symposium will serve as a venue to share and discuss the next steps of Electro Mobility as a key to making the automobile industry "Green" and "Sustainable". During your stay, we encourage you to explore the beautiful city of Goyang and all it has to offer. For your convenience, please review and confirm the following information below. Tickets to KINTEX cost 8,000 won and can be purchased at the Transportation Information Counter near exit No. 8 on the Arrivals floor (1st floor) or at the bus stops themselves. The locations are marked in the pictureabove. 2.3 Taxi The taxi is the easiest way to get to KINTEX, which you can take from the long-distance taxi stop. Travel time: minutes Fare: About KRW 50,000~60,000 (US$ 50 ~ 60) * Korean Currency Only Participants going by taxi to the venue may simply print the message in the next page and show it to the driver. 3 2.4 Airport Railroad / Subway Taking the subway is not recommended, but we have outlined the directions for your convenience. When you arrive at Incheon, head to the basement and follow the signs that say Airport Railroad. Once there, you may purchase tickets from the automated machine. Make sure you take the Commuter train that stops at all stations. Do not take the Express trainwhich goes straight to Seoul Station. You will need to transfer two times until Daewha Station (nearest station to KINTEX) from the Incheon International Airport station. Once on the Airport Railroad line, transfer at Digital Media Station onto the GyeonguiJungang line. Take the GyeonguiJungang line (north) and transfer at Daegok Station. Take line 3 (west) and get off at Daewha Station. Line No. 3 (Yellow Line) Daehwa Station Exit No. 1 & 2: on foot to KINTEX (about 5 min.) 8 IV. General Information 1 Local Time: GMT+9 / No daylight savings time 2 Weather With generally splendid weather, daily temperatures vary widely in the spring. It can be warm or a bit hot in the daytime, but a little cold at night. It is always a good idea to prepare by bringing a light jacket. 3 Electricity and Voltage The standard electricity supply is AC 220 V, 60 Hz.
