A charge of 5.25 AED / USD 1.42 per crossing will apply. Mileage / Kilometre Restrictions Mileage and kilometre restrictions are unlimited. For rentals of 30+ days in duration, mileage is limited to 4,000km / month; excess miles will be charged at AED 0.37 per km TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS Fines incurred as a result of a traffic violation are the responsibility of the driver. An administration fee of AED / USD will apply for each violation. Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Al Ain and Sharjah Kalba borders - we do not offer Oman trips from these exits. *Not allowed to drive into Salalah *Oman Insurance-AED / USD (7days) and AED 420/ USD (8-30days) Oman Surcharge-20% of the daily rate for each day in Oman Cancellations and No Show Charges If you do not collect the vehicle a No Show charge of AED will apply. If you no longer need your vehicle, cancel your booking more than 2 hours before the pick-up time to avoid this charge. Waiver and protection options Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) Collision Damage Waiver reduces your liability if the vehicle is damaged. If the vehicle is damaged you will pay the cost of repair up to the excess amount. CDW is included in most rates sold on Budget websites. Theft Protection is included in CDW. This reduces your liability if the vehicle is stolen (subject to an excess). CDW is available at this location. The costs and excess charges are detailed in the table below. If your rate includes CDW this cost is already included in your rental price. Theft Protection (TP) Theft Protection reduces your liability if the vehicle is stolen (subject to an excess). Drivers license and ID requirements You must present an original passport and driving licence when collecting the Budget vehicle; photocopies of the documents are not accepted. We advise all drivers on a visit visa to have their International driving licence with them. National licence alone is accepted for the following countries: Britain, USA, France, Japan, Belgium, Holland, Switzerland, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Greece, Austria, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Norway, Turkey, Canada, Poland,South Korea, Finland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand,China,Luxembourg,Slovakia,Romania.International licence alone is not accepted. Visitors from Republic of Korea, Japan, Turkey and Greece are requested to have a translation of their license approved by the Council or Embassy. However, we do recommend that an international license be obtained. Expatriates living in the UAE on a residence visa require a UAE driver's license. The UAE license must be held for a minimum of one year. If the UAE license is held for less than one year, a national license from the country of issue must be presented with the UAE license. AGCC National licences are acceptable if they driver holds AGCC passports. AGCC countries are as follows: Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait and UAE. Expatriates holding AGCC licences are accepted provided they hold a residence visa for the country that has issued the licence. AGCC licence holders do not require an International licence. 6 Fuel charges Vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel at the start of the rental. To avoid refuelling charges please return the car with a full tank of fuel. If the fuel tank is not full we will fill the tank and charge you for the fuel. Fuel is charged at market price + surcharge. During Office Hours If you are delayed and arrive outside of office hours due to a delayed flight no additional charge will apply. This only applies if you enter your flight number when booking. If you are late we will guarantee your rental for 2 hours. After this time your reserved car may be released and rented to another customer. Out of Office Hours Collection It may be possible to collect the vehicle out of office hours. This must be requested at the time of booking. The charge for this service is AED This service is not available if the rental is booked online. We need the following information when you make your booking. Special equipment Child Seats (for 1-4 year olds) and Child Booster Seats (for 5-12 year olds) are also available at the cost of AED / USD 8.50 per day.
