8 Best Return on Investment IGHC statistics demonstrate that an average of meetings are set up per company during the event. Our delegates estimate approximately USD 20,000 in savings on travel expenses annually while generating USD 750,000 + of business leads at the IGHC. 9 Networking and Business The IGHC offers a networking tool to set up business meetings, hospitality suites, an exhibition, a business area as well as various social and networking events. New in 2019, the IGHC BizZone will be reserved exclusively for meetings scheduled using the IGHC networking tool. 10 Networking and Business A facilitated one-on-one power meetings (also known as speed networking), are one of the fastest growing forms of structured networking in the world. That is why IATA is making Getting to Know Your Airlines networking session part of its IGHC program on Monday, 27 May afternoon. This two-hour dedicated session has been crafted with your needs in mind. It is designed to provide you with a unique platform to access airline subject matter experts (SMEs) responsible for procurement and/or management of ground handling contracts. You will be able to meet with up to 15 airline delegates. Ten on-site hospitality suites can be rented by delegates to meet with their clients to showcase products/services and negotiate contracts in private. Social events are traditionally highlights of the IGHC. You can informally catch up with old or new business partners during the welcome cocktail on Monday, a cocktail during the exhibition on Tuesday and networking receptions on Wednesday.
