2 Organizer: Aero Club VO.LI Aeromodellistico, Via Legnano Torino, Italy Contest date: August 12-13, 2016 pre-event FAI World Championships F5 Electric Model Aircraft, Contest site: Airport Francesco Baracca, Villa San Martino, Via Ripe di Bagnara 4, Lugo di Romagna (RA), Italy, Participation: Contest rules: All affiliated members of active National Aero Club and Federation may enter in each class. Each participant Competitor must posses a valid FAI License for the year License shall be registered in the FAI Licenses database. Sporting license shall be presented to the Organizer at the registration and it will be held during all contest time and returned to the participant at the contest end. Validity of the contest: F5B Eurotour Official languages: English and Italian International Jury and Contest Line Directors: Andras REE (HUN), Manfred LEX (AUT) Lillo CONDELLO (ITA) F5B: F5D: Emil GIEZENDANNER (SUI) Urs SCHALLER (ITA) Tomas BARTOVSKY Local rules: In line with paragraph of the Sc4, Vol. F5, Electric General rules, the last TELEMETRY SYSTEM and ENERGY LIMITER by NeuMotors will be used. All competitors are requested to accept the use of such devices provided by the Organizer. One F5B logger and one F5D Energy Limiter will be sorted and assigned to Competitors at the beginning of each competition day and have to be returned at the end of each day round in perfect conditions. Organizer will not be responsible in any way for misuse or malfunctioning of the provided devices as well as model damages. Competitors in the F5B class must provide an additional RX compatible with the RC system they use.

3 The competitor must ensure that the receiver they provide to the contest officials for use with the course monitoring system will function correctly with either of the models they chose to fly. The format and setting s must be such that the same receiver can be used for both models without any resetting or changing of the settings of the official timing equipment or the receiver. Possible changes or amendments will be announced by the Contest Director before contest start-up. Site facilities: The Airfield at Airport F. Baracca is located at about 10 Km from the Lugo city, includes toilets, drinking water, electricity at V 50Hz and stand to connect battery chargers, bar and restaurant. Meals on the field: Tickets for lunch will be available at Administration Office at 12 Euro/pax. To be booked by the Entry form (Annex 1). At the Airport Bar and Local restaurant will be activity to serve the Meals on the field.. Maps : Itinerary to reach the airport: very easy from International Airports of Bologna, Venezia, Verona, Ravenna, Milano and by car via express way A14/E45 (See attached Maps and Itineraries) At critical crosses or road intersection special signs with FAI logo and Event name will be on the way to reach the Airport. Milano, IBAN: IT54 M Anti-doping: Competitors taking for medical reasons any of the substances listed on the Wada prohibited list, must have a valid Therapeutic Use Exemption Certificate (TUE) from the FAI. Protest: Submitted immediately and by writing in English according with FAI rules and accompanied with 50 Euros. T he deposit is returned only if the protest is upheld.

4 Accommodation: A plenty of hotels at various choice level (B&B, Agriturismo, Hotels ** and *** stars) with good level of comfort an most of them with restaurants. Food quality is usually good and typical of the Emilia Romagna region at reasonable rates. Information can be obtained by the local touristic offices and websites: Reservation has to be made by competitors. See also the website : Accommodation. Schedule: There will be scheduled (Tentatively) : n. 4 rounds for F5B and n. 8 rounds for the F5D. Classification: Individual with separate classification for Juniors if participation will be higher then n. 3 perticipants in each class from different Countries. Responsibility: The Organiser shall not be responsible for any kind of damage to personnel or properties. Insurance: All competitors shall have its own insurance against Third Parties damages or injuries. The organizer will provide a limited third-party liability insurance covering all competitors for model accidents involving injury to others and damage to property to World Champs participants. In any case It is recommendable however that each competitor had his own insurance. It is also recommended that individual health and travel insurance is purchased by each participant before travelling. Schedule can be changed particularly for Rounds quantity during the two days due to meteo conditions, quantity of participants and/or organizational reasons as announced by Contest Directors on time prior to the contest. Approved frequencies: The 35 MHz frequencies are allowed, as per the FAI rules but, the 2.4 GHz spectrum system is strongly recommended. The 2,4 GHz spread spectrum will eliminate the frequency control and the transmitter impound, competitors can keep their transmitter during the competition at all time. All radio equipments must comply to the EN specs and be certified ECC (CE mark). Competitors will be fully responsible for their own equipments to fulfill these requirements.
