3 Kenya Safari (8 Days/7 Nights) Valid: 1 May to 30 Nov 2015 AFRICA Day 05: Serengeti National Park What better way to experience the wilderness than going on an all-day game drive in the Serengeti National Park? Expect to commune with Mother Nature from morning til sunset. Guests will be served their meals and stay the night at Serengeti Savannah Camp or Katikati Camp. Day 06: Ngorongoro Conservation Area After breakfast, drive 4 hours to Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera in the world. Check out the abundant wildlife that permanently resides on the crater floor. Arrive for lunch and then descend to the floor for a marvelous crater tour. Day 07: Lake Manyara After breakfast, drive 2 hours to Lake Manyara National Park, which apart from its abundant bird and animal life, is known for its tree-climbing lions. Lunch at the camp. Go on an afternoon game drive in the park. Guests will be served dinner and stay the night at Manyara Wildlife Camp or in a similar accommodation. Day 08: Departure Have breakfast at the lodge then drive 2 hours to Arusha for lunch (lunch cost not included). Later, drive 1 hour to Kilimanjaro Airport to fly home or to Nairobi s JKIA for a connection flight. You may also decide to take a 5-hour shared road shuttle coach from Arusha to JKIA. Mara Leisure Camp - 02 Nights Day 01: Masai Mara National Reserve Guests will be picked up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) or a Nairobi hotel early in the morning. A short safari briefing will be conducted afterwards. Drive to the Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya s finest and Africa s greatest wildlife reserve. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where visitors can see animals in their natural habitat and in large numbers as they existed a century ago. Arrive for lunch at your camp. 4 Tanzania Safari (6 Days/5 Nights) Valid: 1 May to 30 Nov 2015 AFRICA also home to the white rhino and the rare black rhino, among other wild animals. At the park, guests are almost certain to see the most elusive of the cat family, the leopard. Day 05: Lake Nakuru Lake Naivasha Overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge Depart for Lake Naivasha after having breakfast at the lodge/tented camp. Arrive at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge, which is situated on the southern shores of Lake Naivasha. The lodge has a total of 21 cottages, consisting of 4 rooms each, with a total of 84 rooms all with panoramic views of the surroundings and the lake. The hotel s luxuriously appointed rooms feature spacious sunken lounges, while upper floor rooms have their own private balcony. All Naivasha Sopa Lodge rooms have en-suite bathroom facilities. Lake Naivasha Naivasha originates from a Masai word meaning rough or rippling water. This describes the characteristics of this sweet freshwater lake, which has a tendency to become rough when it s windy. The lake plays a vital role in the area s history as the main route of the slave trade from Uganda and the highlands of Kenya. Approximately 177 square kilometres in size and 13 kilometres across, a large variety of flora and fauna call the lake their home. Fringed by thick papyrus, its shallow waters have an average depth of 5 metres. At the beginning of the 20th century, Naivasha completely dried up and disappeared and the resulting open land was farmed. Heavy rains a few years later caused the lake to surge back to life, swallowing up the newly established estates in the area. Day 01: Arrive at JKI Airport Nairobi hotel check-in Overnight in Nairobi Upon arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi, guests will be met by our representative, offered cold towels and mineral water, and taken to their Nairobi hotel for check-in. The drive may take approximately 45 minutes. Day 02: Nairobi Masai Mara Game Reserve Overnight at Keekorok Lodge Prepare for a full day ahead with a buffet breakfast at the hotel before check out. Take a morning drive to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, considered as Kenya s finest and Africa s greatest wildlife reserve. With 200 square miles of vast grasslands, open plains, woodlands and riverine forest, Masai Mara is home to an exceptional population of lions, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, gazelles and antelopes (topi). It is connected to the plains of the Serengeti and supports a breathtaking array of life. The acacia forests abound with bird life and monkeys. Elephants can be seen cooling off in the many buffalo wallows in the wide Musiara Swamp. The Mara and Talek rivers are brimming with hippos and crocodiles. At 4pm, guests will head off to the Keekorok Lodge, located at the very heart of Kenya s fabled national reserve. Keekorok means abundance in the local Masai language. Constructed in 1962, the lodge stands on a choice eighty-acre site inside the reserve surrounded by an area of flowing springs and lush grassland habitually teeming with wildlife. Within it, guests can find a large gift store, spacious grounds to explore, countless activities, a refreshing swimming pool, fantastic food and beverage options, and a rich history of the Masai people s way of life. Keekorok promises a truly unforgettable experience. Day 03: Spend the day in Masai Mara Overnight at Keekorok Lodge Wake up to a lovely African sunrise!
