CEO Banking system Government also fosters involvement of the banking system : 3 Moroccan banks which are amongst the top-10 in Africa can propose efficient and tailored financing solutions for the Tourism Industry with the backing of the Central Guarantee Fund.

9 The destination Agadir is an established seaside destination with still great untapped potential 65% 60% 55% 50% 45% 40% Occupancy rate vs bedding capacity * Bedding Capacity Overall occupancy rate Agadir has a bedding capacity in excess of beds at the end of 2015 and it has grown at an average annual rate of 4.4% since The overall occupancy rate of the city has been exceeding 55% on average since An estimate 40% of the city bedding capacity is considered to be disadvantaged which tends to penalize the overall occupancy rate. 10 The Hotel History of the Royal Palace Hotel Royal Palace is an upper-upscale 5-star hotel owned by NESCO Maroc SA, a Moroccan joint stock company with a paid-up capital of MAD 100 million ~ 10 million, registered on the commercial register of Casablanca under No The hotel is located in the touristic area of Founty in Agadir : Plots B4 & B5, Bay of Palms where most of seaside resorts and hotels are located. The land plots upon which the hotel is constructed were bought from the government in The total area of the land plots is 43,800 SQM. An additional land area of over 6,000 SQM is leased from the municipality to extend the hotel s social areas (gardens ). The company invested MAD 170 million ~ 17 million in the project, on top of the land value. The concrete structure is 90% complete. Also, around 25% of MEP works is finished. The hotel was designed, built and equipped according to the standards and under the supervision of the hotel management company Kempinski. A management agreement stating that Kempinski would take over the management and operation once the hotel is completed was terminated. The owner of NESCO Maroc SA and main promoter of the project passed away 4 years ago after a long illness leading to the suspension of the works on the site.

11 The Hotel Facts about the Royal Palace Hotel The Royal Pallace Hotel is located in «Founty» the main Agadir touristic area. It is close to many hotels managed by internationally recognized brands : Sofitel Thalassa, Palais des Roses, Iberostar Founty amongst others. The hotel has direct access to the beach and is on an elevated site compared which means that most rooms will have a view on the sea. The hotel is close to many nightlife attractions : several restaurants, clubs and the Agadir casino are just few streets away. A nearby international shopping center is planed just next to the property. The works are due to begin in the course of this month.
