1 Woodlan Jr./Sr. High School Direction Book for Area Schools 2012 ADAMS CENTRAL 222 W. Washington Street, Monroe, IN Take U.S. 24 west to I-469. Turn south on I-469 and go to exit 11 (27/33). Turn left and go south through Decatur. About four miles south of Decatur turn left on Hwy. 124 and go one mile. The school is on the left side. (35 miles 45 min.) ANGOLA 350 John McBride Ave., Angola, IN Take U.S. 24 east to Hwy Turn left and go north 29 miles to Hamilton. Turn right at fourway stop and take Hwy. 1 eight miles to Metz Road (U.S. 20). Turn left and go four miles to Angola. The school is on the left side before you get to Angola. OR take I-69 north to Angola. Turn right, going through town, the school is on the east side of town. (50 miles 1 hr.). ANTWERP 303 S. Harrmann Street, Antwerp, OH Turn right on to U.S. 24 and go east 11 miles on old U.S. 24 to Antwerp. Continue through town to the east side. By the watertower turn right onto Harrmann Street and go south. The school is on the left. (12 miles 20 min.). This will not work for the bus, as the railroad tracks are too close to old U.S. 24. Take new U.S. 24 east into Ohio. At St. Rt. 49 exit and take St. Rt. 49 north into Antwerp. At the edge of town turn right onto E. Canal Street. Go east to Harrmann Street and the high school. BELLMONT 1000 E. North Adams Drive, Decatur, IN Take Woodburn Road to Hwy. 101, turn right. Go south on 101 through Monroeville into Adams County. Continue on 101 until reaching the stop at Hwy Turn right and go four miles. At the stop light turn left onto the school grounds. The junior high is behind the high school building. (25 miles 35 min.) BISHOP DWENGER 1300 E. Washington Center Road. Ft. Wayne, IN Take Webster Road to the Platter Bridge, turn left at the bridge and take Stellhorn Road to Hwy. 37. Continue past Maysville Road to the traffic light at Lahmeyer Road. Turn right onto Lahmeyer and go north to St. Joe Center Road. Turn left onto St. Joe Center Road and continue west. St. Joe becomes Washington Center Road. The school is on the left at the corner of Clinton and Washington Center Road. (12 miles 20 min.)

2 BISHOP LUERS 333 East Paulding Road, Ft. Wayne, IN Take U.S. 24 west to I-469. Go south on I-469 and go to exit 11 (27/33). Turn right on to Hwy. 27 and go north for four miles. The school is on the left at the intersection of Paulding and U.S. 27 which is South Lafayette St. ( 19 miles 25 min.) Baseball games are played at Indiana Tech which is located off of Washington Blvd. (U.S. 24 through Fort Wayne). Softball games are played at St. Joe Hessen Cassel. Take U.S. 24 to I Turn south on I-469 and go to U.S. 27 exit. Turn left and go south. The school is on the left. BLACKHAWK CHRISTIAN 7400 E. State Blvd. Ft. Wayne, IN Take Webster Road to the Platter Bridge, turn left at the bridge and take Stellhorn Road to the stop light at Maysville Road. Turn left onto Maysville Road and go about two miles. Continue straight at the stoplight at St. Peter s Lutheran Church going onto State Street. The school is on the left side at the next stop light. (8 miles 15 min.) BLACKFORD 2392 N. S.R. 3, Hartford City, IN Take U.S. 24 west to I-469. Go south on I-469 and take exit 2 (Markle/Zanesville) for Rt. 3. Turn left going south on Rt. 3. Go through Zanesville and Markle to the north side of Hartford City. The school is on the right side. (70 miles 90 min.) BLUFFTON #1 Tiger Trail, Bluffton, IN Take U.S. 24 west to I-469. Go south on I-469 to exit 6 (FW/Bluffton). Turn left going south on St. Rt. 1 through Ossian to Bluffton. Go through Bluffton to 116 East. There is a strip mall on the left southeast corner. Turn left at the stoplight onto Harrison Rd/Rt Go to Wayne St. and turn left onto Wayne. The school is on the right. (36 miles 50 min.) CANTERBURY 3210 Smith Road, Ft. Wayne, IN Take U.S. 24 west to New Haven. Continue on U.S. 24 through New Haven and Ft. Wayne. On the west side of Ft. Wayne, turn left onto Ardmore Ave. at the light and go to Covington Road. Turn right onto Covington going west to Smith Road. Turn left onto Smith Road going south to the school. Canterbury is on the right. The school is not visible from the road and has a long lane leading to it. (15 miles 32 min.) CARROLL 3701 Carroll Road, Ft. Wayne, IN Take U.S. 24 west to I-469 north to I-69 at the Dupont Road exit. Turn left and go west on Dupont Road. Go through the Hwy. 3 interchange. At the 4-way stop, turn right and go north. The school is on the right at the next stop sign. OR at Hwy. 3 turn right going north to the Carroll Road intersection. Turn left onto Carroll Road and go two miles past the 4-H Fairgrounds. The school will be on the left. (18 miles 30 min.)

3 CENTRAL LUTHERAN 1400 Elm St., New Haven, IN Take U.S. 24 west to New Haven. At the 3-way stop turn left onto Green Street. Take Green south, crossing Hwy. 14. The school is on the left at the intersection of U.S. 930 and Green St. (7 miles 15 min.). CENTRAL NOBLE 302 Cougar Ct., Albion, IN Take U.S. 24 west to I-469 north to the Dupont Rd. exit. Turn left going west on Dupont Rd. and go to Hwy. 3. Turn right onto Hwy. 3 going north to Rt. 8. Turn left onto Hwy. 8 and go west to Albion. The school is on the right shortly after arriving in Albion. (40 miles 60 min.) Soccer is played at Hidden Diamonds Park. Continue on St. Rt. 8 until you reach the stoplight at the intersection of St. Rt. 9. Turn left and go south of St. Rt. 9 until you cross the railroad tracks. Take the first left and go east on Weber Road. The entrance to the park is will be on the south side of the road. Follow Hidden Diamonds lane back to the soccer complex. CHURUBUSCO 1 Eagle Drive, Churubusco, IN Take U.S. 24 west to I-469 to Dupont Road. Turn left going west on Dupont Road to Hwy. 3. Turn right onto Hwy. 3 going north to Carroll Road. Turn left onto Carroll Road and go west to Hwy. 33. Turn right onto Hwy. 33 and go north to Churubusco. Turn left at the first stoplight and go two blocks. The school is on the right. (25 miles 50 min.) COLUMBIA CITY 600 N. Whitley St., Columbia City, IN Take U.S. 24 west to I-479. Go north to I-69. Take I-69 south to the U.S. 30/33 exit. Turn right and go west on U.S. 30 for about eighteen miles to Columbia City. At Hwy. 9 in Columbia City turn left. Go three-four blocks and turn left. The school is two blocks down. (35 miles 45 min.) CONCORDIA 1601 St. Joe River Drive, Ft. Wayne, IN Take Webster Road to the Platter Bridge. Turn left and take Stellhorn Road to Hwy. 37. Follow Stellhorn/37 to Coliseum Blvd. Continue straight crossing Coliseum. You are now on Cresent Ave. Go to the first stoplight and turn right onto St. Joe River Drive. Go one block. The school is on the right and the corner of Anthony and St. Joe River Drive. The baseball/softball fields are located between Cresent and Anthony Blvd. (12 miles 25 min.) DEKALB C.R. 427, Waterloo, IN Take U.S. 24 to I-469. Go north on I-469 to I-69. Take the IN-8 exit toward Garrett/Auburn. Turn right going east onto St. Rt. 8. Turn left onto N. Main St./IN 427. Continue on IN 427 going north. The school is on the left side between Auburn and Waterloo. (33 miles 37 min.)

4 EAST NOBLE 901 S. Garden Street, Kendallville, IN Take U.S. 24 west to I-469 north to I-69. At the Dupont Road exit turn left onto Dupont and go west to Hwy. 3. Turn right onto Hwy. 3 and go north to Kendallville. At the East Noble sign south of town, turn right and go two-three miles. (48 miles 70 min.) EASTBROOK 560 S. 900 E., Marion, IN Take U.S. 24 west to I-469. Go south on I-469 to I-69. Go south on I-69 to the St. Rt. 18 exit for Marion. To get to the soccer field turn right toward Marion and follow St. Rt. 18 and after crossing a bridge Ballard Park is on the right. The school is left at the turn off of I-69. (62 miles - 60 min.) EASTSIDE 603 E. Green Street, Butler, IN Take U.S. 24 east to Hwy Turn left and go north on Hwy. 101 to Butler. In Butler turn right onto Hwy. 6 and go four-five blocks. At sign Eastside HS turn left and go one block to the school. (28 miles 35 min.) ELMHURST - used for South Side baseball games 3829 Sand Point Road, Ft. Wayne, IN Take U.S. 24 to New Haven. Continue through town to Ft. Wayne. You are on Washington Blvd. Go to the west side of town to the light at Ardmore Ave. Turn left at the light and go south for about five miles. The school is on the right. (18 miles - 45 min.) GARRETT 801 E. Houston Street, Garrett, IN Take U.S. 24 west to I-469 north to I-69. Go north on I-69 to Hwy. 8. Turn left onto Hwy. 8 and continue to Hwy 327. Turn left and go one mile south to Garrett. Turn left at the third light which is Houston Street. Go several blocks south to the school on the right. (40 miles 50 min.) HAMILTON 903 S. Wayne Street, Hamilton, IN Take U.S. 24 east to Hwy Turn left and go north on Hwy continue through Butler on Hwy 1 to Hamilton. At the four-way stop turn left to get to the school. (34 miles 50 min.) HARDING MS (formerly Prince Chapman) 4808 East Paulding Road, Ft. Wayne, IN Take U.S. 24 west to New Haven. At the 3-way stop turn left onto Green St. Take Green St. to Moeller Road and turn right. Take Moeller Road to Adams Center Road and turn left onto Adams Center. Go south on Adams Center Road to Paulding Road. Turn right onto Paulding. Just before the 4-way stop at Wayne Trace, turn left to the school. East Allen University (formerly Harding H.S.) is across the drive from Harding MS.

5 HERITAGE Monroeville Road, Monroeville, IN Take U.S. 24 west to I-469. Turn south on I-469 and go to the Minnich Road exit. Turn left and go about four miles to Monroeville Road. Turn left onto Monroeville Road and go another four miles to the school on the right. (16 miles 25 min.) HICKSVILLE, OH 105 E. Smith Street, Hicksville, IN Take U.S. 24 east to Hwy Turn left onto Hwy 101 and go north. At the intersection with Hwy. 37, turn right and go east to Hicksville. In Ohio St. Rt. 37 becomes St. Rt. 2. Turn right onto Main Street. After one block turn right onto Smith Street. The school is on the left. (18 miles 25 min.) HOWE Take U.S. 24 west to I-469 north to I-69. Go north on I-69 to the Angola exit (U.S. 20). Go west on U.S. 20 to U.S. 9. Turn right onto U.S. 9 going north to Howe. The school is on the nirth side of town. (82 miles 1 hr. 20 min.) HUNTINGTON NORTH 450 McGahan Street, Huntington, IN Take U.S. 24 west to I-469 and continue past the GM plant to the intersection with U.S. 24. Turn left onto U.S. 24 and go west to Huntington. Take the bypass around Huntington and at the intersection with Hwy. 5, turn left. The school is on the right. (40 miles 45 min.) JAY COUNTY 2072 W. S.R. 67, Portland, IN Take U.S. 24 west to I-469. Go south on I-469 to the U.S. 27/33 exit. Turn left going south on U.S. 27. Go through Decatur, Berne, Geneva to Portland. In Portland, turn right on West Water Street and then left on Blain Pike. The school can be seen to the west as you reach W. Water Street. (54 miles 90 min.) LAKELAND 0805 E. 075 LaGrange, IN Take U.S. 24 to I-469. Go north to I-69. Go north on I-69. At the Angola exit, go west on U.S. 20 to LaGrange. The school is east of LaGrange on Co.Rd. 075 N. (62 miles 90 min.) LAKEWOOD PARK CHRISTIAN 5555 C. R. 29, Auburn, IN Take U.S. 24 west to I-469. Go north on I-469 to I-69. Take I-69 to exit. 126 (Co.Rd. 11-A). Turn right onto Co.Rd. 11 A. Turn left onto Co. Rd Turn right onto Co. Rd. 52. Turn right onto Co. Rd. 29. The school is on the left. (29 miles 30 min.)

6 LEO Amstutz Road, Leo, IN Take Webster Road to the Platter Bridge. Turn right onto Thimlar Rd. and go north. Cross U.S. 37 onto Cuba Road. Continue to the 4-way stop. Turn left onto Grabill Rd. going west through Grabill and continue to Leo. Go straight at the 4-way stop, Hwy. 1 intersection and continue past the elementary school to the next 4-way stop at Amstutz Rd. Turn left onto Amstutz and the school is ahead on the left. (7 miles 20 min.) LINCOLNVIEW, OH Middle Point Road, Van Wert, OH Take St. RT. 101 south to U.S. Hwy. 30. Turn left and go to Van Wert on U.S. 30. On the east side of Van Wert turn right onto Hoaglin Center Road. Go south. The school is at the intersection of Hoaglin and Middle Point Road. (38 miles 45 min.) MAPLE CREEK MS 425 Union Chapel Road, Ft. Wayne, IN Follow the directions for Leo. At the 4-way stop at Amstutz Rd., continue straight onto Hosler Road and continue to the Tonkel Road intersection. Turn right onto Tonkel and go north to Union Chapel Road. Turn left and go west to the school. (12 miles 25 min.) MICHIGAN CITY 8466 W. Pahs Road, Michigan City, IN Take U.S. 24 west to I-469. Go north to I-69. Take I-69 south to the U.S. 30/33 exit. Go west on U.S. 30 for 95 miles to U.S Turn right and go north 17 miles on St. Rt Turn right onto Cleveland Road for 1/10 mile. Turn left onto Pahs Raod. The school is one mile down. (2 hrs. 34 min. 133 mi.) Michigan City is in the Central Time Zone, one hour behind us. NEW HAVEN H.S Green Street, New Haven, IN Take U.S. 24 west to New Haven. At the 3-way stop turn left onto Green Street. Go south on Green and cross Hwy. 14 and U.S The school is on the right at the intersection of U.S. 930 and Green St. (6 miles 10 min.) NEW HAVEN MS 900 Prospect Ave., New Haven, IN Take U.S. 24 west to New Haven. At the 3-way stop turn left onto Green Street. Go south on Green and cross Hwy. 14. One block south of Hwy. 14, turn right onto Park Street and go three blocks. The school is on the left side. (6 miles 10 min.) NORWELL 1100 E. U.S. 224, Ossian, IN Take U.S. 24 west to I-469. Turn south onto I-469 and go to exit 6 (Ft. Wayne/Bluffton). Turn left onto Hwy. 1 going south through Ossian to Hwy Turn right onto U.S. 224 and go three miles. The school is on the left. (40 miles 50 min.)

7 NORTHROP 7001 Coldwater Road, Ft. Wayne, IN Take U.S. 24 west to I-469. Go north to I-69. Take I-69 south to the Coldwater Road exit. Turn right going north on Coldwater. The school is on the left at the corner of Cook and Coldwater Roads. You must go to Cook Road and turn left to enter the school parking lot. (15 miles 25 min.) NORTHFIELD 154 W 200 N. Wabash, IN Take U.S. 24 west to I-469 south. Stay on I-469 past the GM plant picking up U.S. 24 and continue through Huntington. On the east side of Wabash turn right onto Hwy. 13 and go north about two miles. The school is on the left. (58 miles 75 min.) NORTH SIDE 475 E. State Blvd., Ft. Wayne, IN Take Webster Road to the Platter Bridge. Turn left and take Stellhorn Rd./U.S. 37 to Coliseum Blvd. Cross Coliseum Blvd. and continue straight on Crescent Ave. to State Street. Turn right onto State Blvd. and go five blocks. The school is on the right side. Turn into the parking lot before passing the school. (14 miles 30 min.) Soccer is played at Hefner Fields across from the coliseum. PRAIRIE HEIGHTS 0245 S E. LaGrange, IN Take U.S. 24 west to I-469 north to I-69. Go north to the U.S. 20 exit at Angola. Turn left onto U.S. 20 going west. After approximately eight miles turn left onto C.R E. The school is ½ mile south. (56 miles 57 min.) SNIDER 4600 Fairlawn Pass, Ft. Wayne, IN Take Webster Road to the Platter Road Bridge. Turn left and take Stellhorn/Hwy 37 to Reed Road. (First stop light past Northwood Shopping Center). Turn left onto Reed and go one mile. The school is on the right. (10miles 18 Min.) Soccer is played at Heffner Fields across from the coliseum. SOUTH ADAMS 1000 Parkway St., Berne, IN Take U.S. 24 west to I-469. Go south on I-469 to exit 11 (Hwy. 27/33). Turn left and go south on Hwy. 27 going through Decatur to Berne. The school is on the south side of Berne on the right. (40 miles 60 min.) SOUTH SIDE 3601 S. Calhoun Street, Ft. Wayne, IN Take U.S. 24 west through New Haven to Ft. Wayne. Turn left onto Calhoun Street. South Side HS is located at the corner of Rudisill and Calhoun Streets (15 miles 20 min.) South Side baseball is played at Elmhurst diamond.

8 SOUTHERN WELLS 9120 S. 300 W., Poneto IN Take U.S. 24 west to I-469. Turn south onto I-469 and go to exit 2 (Indianapolis/Zanesville). Turn left and go to Zanesville. At the north edge of town turn left onto Wayne Street and go through Zanesville. Continue to Wells County. Wayne St. becomes Co Rd Continue south through Liberty Center and go approximately 22 miles to the school which is one the right side of the road. (55 miles 60 min.) SOUTHWOOD 564 E. St. Rt. 124, Wabash, IN Take U.S. 24 west to I-469. Turn south on I-469 and continue past the GM plant picking up U.S. 24. Take U.S. 24 through Huntington to Wabash. In Wabash turn left and go south on St. Rt. 15 to St. Rt Turn left and onto St. Rt The school is approximately ¾ mi. ahead on the left side. (64 miles 70 min.) TIPPECANOE VALLEY 8345 S. St. Rd. 19, Akron, IN Take U.S. 24 west to I-469. Go north on I-469 to I-69. Take I-69 south to exit 105B IN -14. Turn right onto St. Rt. 14 and follow to Arkron. Turn right onto 1000 W/N 1200 E. Turn left onto W 1000 S/E 200 E. Turn right onto IN 19. (70 miles 1 ½ hrs.) WABASH 580 N. Miami Street, Wabash, IN Take U.S. 24 west to I-469 south. Continue on U.S. 24 past GM plant to Huntington to Wabash. In Wabash turn left and go south on Manchester Avenue (Hwy. 13) and follow to Harrison. Turn right. Go to Miami and turn left, then go right onto Colarain, which brings you to the school parking lot. (60 miles 70 min.) WAYNE TRACE, OH 4915 U.S. Hwy. 127, Haviland, OH Take Woodburn Road to the State Line Road. Turn right and go to the second road going left. Turn onto Paulding Co Rd. 106 and continue to St. Rt. 49. Turn right onto St. Rt. 49 and go toward Payne. At the first crossroad (Co. Rd. 94) just north of Payne, turn left and go east about two miles to the stop sign. Go straight onto St. Rt Continue on St. Rt. 613 until the intersection with St. Rt Turn right onto St. Rt. 127 and go south approximately two miles to the school. (25 miles 40 min.) WEST NOBLE 5094 N. U.S. 33, Ligonier, IN Take U.S. 24 to I-469. Go north on I-469 to I-69. take I-69 south to the 30/33 exit. Go north on U.S. 33 through Churubusco to Ligonier. The school is on the right. OR follow the directions for Churubusco and continue north on St. Rt. 33 to Ligonier. (50 miles 80 min.)

9 WHITKO 1 Big Blue Ave., South Whitley, IN Take U.S. 24 to I-469 north to I-69. Tkat I-69 south to exit 14. Go west for twenty-four miles to South Whitley. Take Hwy. 5 to the west side of South Whitley. The school is on the right. (40 miles 60 min.)
