1 Nullaki Wilderness Retreat/ Wolfes Landing Information Pack And Map CHECK IN: Check in time is on or after 2:00 PM on your day of arrival. There is a map provided with this information pack. It covers most of your journey once you reach the South Coast Highway (see map details below). Follow the map and directions listed below and go directly to the Nullaki Wilderness Retreat/Wolfes Landing property. Your accommodation will be prepared and your and the access keys will be in the house on the breakfast bar or kitchen table. There are map directions to the Youngs Siding Store nearby where you can buy fuel, liquor and just about everything else. The store trading hours are 7AM to 6PM each day. It is advisable if possible to begin your trip as early as possible. That way you can arrive as early as 2:00 PM and you still have nearly half a day to get settled in. CHECK OUT: Check out time is by 10AM on the day of your departure. We are flexible to a point and if you require a little more time it can usually be arranged but we do need to be notified beforehand. MAP AND DIRECTIONS: If leaving from Perth the quickest route is via the Albany Hwy through Williams, Kojonup and to Mount Barker. Turn right at the entrance roundabout at Mount Barker onto the Muires Hwy and then turn left onto the Denbarker Rd a couple of hundred metres after you pass the West Cape Howe Winery. It is approx 35 kilometres to the South Coast Hwy T junction where you turn left towards Albany. After about 15 kilometres passing over the Cuppup Creek Bridge you turn right onto the Lower Denmark/Albany Rd (the Youngs Siding General Store is only 2 kilometres down this road where you can top up with groceries, liquor and fuel). After turning right off the South Coast Hwy turn right into Eden Rd turnoff just 50 metres away. Ensure you follow the bitumen and the roadside signs to the Blueberry Farm. After crossing a small bridge with no railing on one side you will come to Wolfes Pump Rd on you left. Follow that track for approxomately one kilometre (it is unsealed but of all weather 2WD construction). You will come a set of large black steel gates at the entrance to Nullaki Retreat/Wolfes Landing (no 74 on a star picket and a big sign). Drive directly through and follow the signs to Wolfes Landing homestead (it is the second dwelling on your left). Please observe the parking and no parking signs. All th please follow it faithfully. Try not to arrive late or in the evening without notifying us first. It is no fun driving around at night in the country looking for guests who have not followed our advice and become lost. USING A GPS NAVIGATOR You can use your GPS car navigator to find your way to Eden Rd from the metropolitan area but don t use it to take you through the Bunbury/Margaret River/Manjimup route unless you intend to. It will add hours and many kilometres to your trip. Depending on the make, model and map version, your GPS navigator may not correctly dispay our property address (74 Wolfes Pump Rd in Youngs Siding). If the map is up to date it should show Wolfes Pump Rd connecting at one end to Lake Saide Rd and to Eden Rd at the other. If not just log in to Eden Rd, Youngs Siding and you will arrive at the Wolfes Pump Rd turn-off on your left. Ensure you approach Wolfes Pump Rd via Eden Rd only, DO NOT TAKE SAIDE RD. A portion of the Lake Saide Rd access is 4WD only and you may end up bogged. Just follow the map. COOKING AND HOT WATER: Household LPG gas boosted by a solar water heater provides the energy to heat your hot water. LPG also fuels your kitchen stove. If your gas bottle runs out and there is no one on the property to assist you simply switch the selector valve to the standby bottle and reverse the isolating valve positions.

2 RUBBISH AND RECYCLABLES: Please wrap and securely bag all kitchen and other waste before placing in the wheelie bin provided adjacent to the house. As we are rural, we have to dispose of our rubbish ourselves by hand. Kitchen bin tidy bags are kept in the top drawer near the sink. Recyclables, wine and stubby bottles, plastic soft drink and water containers and aluminium cans can be placed in the smaller metal bin alongside the other. ABLUTIONS: Please do not attempt to discard disposable babies nappies or other sanitary items via the toilet. We rely on a septic tank system and these items have caused expensive and inconvenient blockages in the past. The same applies to chlorine or household bleach and disinfectant cleaning products. These will sterilise the septic system and stop it from working. Regular detergent is just as good and doesn't interfere with the septic tank operation. WOOD HEATER USE (Wolfes Landing Holiday House only) Separate instructions are provided in users manual in the house. A wood heater will be installed in the Nullaki holiday house in time for next winter as it has just been completed. CANOE The canoe that is kept on the property is for the private use of the owners. If any of our guests use them they assume all liability for any negative outcomes whatever the cause. Lifejackets are provided if you choose so and childrenshould be closely supervised at all times. PET RULES: We are pet friendly at Wolfes Landing, however, there are a number of basic conditions that must be met.accepting pets at Wolfes has been a learning experience and we have arrived at these conditions after someunfortunate occurrences. An additional fee of $25.00 is required for a pet friendly stay. This is required sue to the extra cleaning required after pets stay with us (especially the long haired variety). This allows for fair and reasonable cleaning effort on our part but if additional cleaning is required the cost will be deducted from your bond as detailed below. 1. A pet bond of $ per pet ispayable on arrival is required and refunded prior to departure. 2. Only one dog is permitted without consultation. Any additional pets are permitted by prior arrangement only. 3. Aggressive breeds such as Pit Bulls and Rottweilers not permitted for safety reasons. 4. All dogs must be under effective control by their owners (no roaming wild and chasing wildlife) 5. All dog droppings shall be collected daily and placed in the recycling facility provided on site 6. We permit small dogs in the house but strictly not on the furniture, bedding or anywhere upstairs. We have had two dogs jump off the balcony and injure themselves (at the Wolfes Landing holiday house). 7. If your dog is a long haired variety and sheds hair you will be required to sweep and or vacuum daily or our cleaning lady will throw a tantrum after you leave. Additional cleaning costs will be deducted from the the tenant's bond. #PLEASE NOTE: If you do not wish to take your dogs with you every time you go out we have provided a warm, dry and secure petenclosure. Please be aware that the nearby National Parks do not permit dogs, even if they are kept in your car.locking your dogs in the house while you leave the property, even for short periods is strictly not permitted. WILDLIFE CONSERVATION: There are many varieties of birds and animals that call Nullaki Retreat/Wolfes Landing home and you will encounter someof them every day. A few we can do without though and are fortunately seasonal. There are snakes about in the spring and summer but you will probably never see them because they are very timid. In spite of that ensure you wear suitablefootwear though when bushwalking about the property. We have mosquitoes in the winter and early spring and bush flies in the early summer.

3 Appropriate clothing and a bit of insect repellent is all that is needed to deal with those little critters. The house is fitted with insect screens so there are no problems with insects inside the house. At times we are visited by native field mice. We have an on-going management program to deal with that but some occasionally sneak through. FIRE RESTRICTIONS: Fire restrictions are in place from November 1 each year through to the winter. Please do not use the wood heater in the house or light any fires outside. The bush down here burns even in the winter but fiercely during spring and summer. The gas BBQ on the front veranda is of course OK. Mosquito coils are not permitted in or outdoors. ELECTRICITY AND WATER: We are totally dependent on rainwater that collects in our tank each winter. Please be aware of this and exercise caution when using it. Four minute showers are a good start and use the appropriate water level setting when you use the washing machine. The washing machine is already connected to the hot water supply tap only. Consequently there is no need to select a high water temperature when programming for a wash cycle. Just select cold or the coldest setting. You will get hot water anyway. Please supervise children closely when they are in the shower. Please ensure to turn off household lights when you are not using them, especially the front and back verandas. As you are aware, the cost of electricity is always increasing and there are greenhouse gas issues to contend with as well. We have replaced all of our lighting where possible with low energy LED globes and your cooperation will be greatly appreciated. FISHING: There are some great shore based rock and beach fishing spots close to Wolfes Landing, Anvil Beach and Cosy Corner near Torbay to mention a couple. Extreme caution should be exercised when rock fishing as large waves can be very hazardous at times. There is ample safe fishing for families and children at the mouth of the Denmark River at the end of Ocean Beach Rd, Denmark. NO SMOKING POLICY: Please do not smoke cigarettes or discard cigarette butts inside the house, on the deck or balcony, on the front veranda or the adjacent lawn areas. There is a significant fire risk due to the dry leaves under the verandah decking. TOURIST VENUES: There are many locations and beaches to visit nearby. It is advisable to check out the Denmark Visitors Centre opposite the Gull Service Station in Denmark to find out where they are. Our beaches are without doubt the best in the world. BEDDING: We have standard beds for up to eight guests at Nullaki Retreat/Wolfes Landing. We also have a couple of folding beds for emergency situations and both a drop side and porta-cot for babies and toddlers. In the Wolfes Landing house there are two single beds in each of the two downstairs bedrooms. There is a queen double in the master bedroom upstairs and a large double sofa bed in the adjoining Sun Room. All beds have pillows, mattress protectors, blankets and doonas. The Nullaki Retreat house has a queen bed in the master bedroom and a double bunk bed and single bed in the second bedroom. there is a trundle bed available for either room and a sofa bed in the Living Room. A cot is also available. LINEN: Usually our guests prefer to supply their own linen but we can hire it in for you if you wish. If you bring your own you will need: 1. Sheets (queen or singles as required) 2. Pillow slips 3. Bath towels 4. A bath mat 5. Tea towels for the kitchen

You have three linen options to choose from as explained in a separate linen requirements . Also explained are precautions required if any of your children are laible to wet their bed.
