2 The Stanglwirt Innovation & Tradition Luxury and a rustic ambience; tradition and innovation; organic philosophy and pure indulgence - the 5-star resort Stanglwirt brings together apparent contrasts to create a unique and incomparable holiday experience. Events such as the Traditional Folkmusic Festival and the Weißwurst Party (major event on the Hahnenkamm Race weekend) have reached cult status. In the over 400 year historic resort, luxurious and cosy rooms and suites await guests, furnished with health-promoting Swiss stone pine wood, pure sheep s wool, cotton and linen. The well-being area, which includes rock baths and a huge variety of saunas and steam grottos is an attraction in itself. Gentle alpine pastures and the impressive jagged cliffs of the Kaiser mountains create a spectacular backdrop. Nearby, the world-class ski pistes and golf courses are tempting. A great deal of wonderful produce comes from the hotel s own 100 hectare farm. More special features in the Stanglwirt include the hotel s own Lipizzaner stud farm, the tennis village which has 14 courts (in- & outdoor) and the renowned tennis school Peter Burwash International (PBI), as well as the award-winning Golf Sport Academy Stanglwirt, which is of international standard. In the outposts of the resort guests will find intimacy and privacy on the Stangl Alm where you get to discover the secrets of the Stanglwirt s very own alpine cheese, while the Chalet Hüttlingmoos invites you to enjoy the ultimate mountain adventure and private retreat. The old forest cabin in the middle of the 600 hectare Stanglwirt hunting grounds at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser has been converted into a five-star hideaway. From a small farm to a 5-star resort Proverbial Tyrolean hospitality is inseparable with the Stanglwirt name, which has been registered as an inn for over 400 years. Since 1722 the well-being of guests has been in the hands of the Hauser family. Luxurious hotel facilities covering twelve hectares and which are of the highest international standard have been developed from this farmstead lodging. Balthasar Hauser and his family have shown that as hoteliers, they can implement their visions, without renouncing their roots. Bio (organic) in the Stanglwirt has nothing to do with frugality - wholesome food is produced on the 100 hectare farm, while the already legendary mountain cheese from the Stanglwirt matures in its own alpine dairy. Environmentally-friendly heating provisions, where waste bark from the surrounding sawmills is used as fuel, provides the entire facilities with heat. The Stanglwirt also gets 100 percent

3 CO 2 -free green electricity from Tirol s small hydroelectric power works. To provide energy to the new well-being worlds, the five-star resort focuses on natural mountain water from its own spring which comes from the Wilder Kaiser - heated using geothermal energy and the sun. Guests can look forward to health-promoting Swiss stone pine wood furniture in the 5- star resort, wooden floors, carpets made from pure sheep s wool as well as upholstery fabrics, towels and bed linen made from pure cotton and the finest linen. New well-being dimensions with views of the Kaiser mountains The Wilder Kaiser is not only an impressive setting and excursion destination. Kaiser stone is a distinctive characteristic of the rock well-being worlds at the Stanglwirt. Balthasar Hauser created a well-being oasis with small and large grottos, caves and waterfalls using Kaiser stone. Panorama windows provide open views to the Wilder Kaiser. The resort is currently considerably refurbishing and extending its well-being area. At the end of 2012 the biggest brine pool in any hotel in Europe (210 m² indoors and outdoors, 36 C) has been opened as well as an international sports swimming pool (25x7 m) with OMEGA time measurement and a relaxation area with open fireplace and cosy, luxurious loungers. Soon after, the second part of the large well-being expansion has been opened. Guests can now enjoy a spacious event sauna with space for up to 40 people, with panoramic views to the Wilder Kaiser, a Swiss stone pine sauna with space for up to 25 people, a waterfall grotto as well as a second panorama relaxation room with another open fireplace. The area outside has a wonderfully designed natural swimming lake (517 m²). In July 2015 the adventurous 1,000 square meter Children's Waterworld, for babies, children and teenagers has been opened. A 120 meter long water slide, a swimming pool, waterfalls and a video projection screen and more children s and baby pools with another slide and numerous fun water attractions await the kids. With an exclusive spa the well-being extension will be completed by the end of An activity holiday in the Kitzbüheler Alps Even though the Stanglwirt is a paradisical realm in itself, the superb mountainous natural surroundings tempt adventurous guests to get out and enjoy adventures. They can enjoy exploring the area around the foot of the Wilder Kaiser while hiking, jogging, on horse-back or with a set of golf clubs. Eight outdoor tennis courts and six indoor courts with an adjoining training camp run by renowned Peter Burwash International tennis school make the Stanglwirt one of the most famous tennis resorts in Europe. In the fitness garden (500 m²

4 indoors) guests get to take part in free courses, like Pilates, Yoga and Body Workout, with guidance from trained medical fitness coaches. The Stanglwirt is also an ideal starting point for hikers, climbers and mountain bikers. Keen horse-riders will be inspired by the sophisticated Lipizzaner horses from the hotel s own private stud farm, which can be taken out on training sessions or on extended rides. A special highlight in the summer is the weekly alpine hike with Stanglwirt s landlady Magdalena Hauser to the Stangl Alm on the Wilder Kaiser incl. a snack in the alpine lodge afterwards where you get the opportunity to sample the Stanglwirt s own alpine cheese. In winter, nearby SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental is the biggest interconnected ski area in Europe and the Kitzbühel/Kirchberg ski area with its legendary Streif downhill run provides unlimited fun on the pistes. A first-class slope network and winter hiking trails make for a perfect winter fairytale. The Kaiser slope heads past the Stanglwirt, which means there is direct access into an extensive slope network. Our Stanglwirt Ski school organize daily beautiful ski safaris to the wonderful skiing areas. At the ski school we offer: Ski alpine, Snowboard, Cross country skiing, Snow shoeing and guided Ski tours. Luxury hideaway at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser In the midst of an alpine wilderness, the traditional forest lodge Hüttlingmoos which has been refurbished by the Stanglwirt into an exclusive five-star mountain chalet - in the 600 hectare Stanglwirt hunting area, lies concealed just below the rugged rock faces of the Wilder Kaiser. The magical hideaway can be hired as a unique conference location, for private parties or as a romantic hideaway for lovers chef and butler service available on request. Guests can head out with the gamekeeper into the hotel s own hunting area, where wood grouse, roebucks and wild chamois can be observed in the open, natural surroundings. New as of summer 2016 St. Anglwirt - Fishing at the Stanglwirt The Stanglwirt s territory water (with a length of 14 km) has its source directly in the Kaiser Mountains, flows from Going to St. Johann in Tirol and extends over the Großache river all the way to Kitzbühel. All fishing friends who are looking for a challenge and want to become one with nature will find numerous shelters and eddies with several shallow spots which also serve as nurseries for the fish. From May to September, river and rainbow trout (main fish species) as well as char, grayling, original Tyrolean brown trout and Danube salmon can be fished for.

5 Stanglwirt s Children s Farm much more exciting than video games Children from the age of three have a paradise of their own on the Children s Farm. In the 200 year-old farmstead little ones can enjoy a voyage of discovery during their holiday, without any video games and television. Instead, children get to stroke the hares, feed the goats, gather freshly laid eggs, brush Susi the pony s mane and feed the foals at the Lipizzaner stud farm with organic apples. Certified teachers provide games, crafts and excursions so the days are action-packed. In the Little Stanglwirt Playhouse young Stanglwirt guests have another play paradise. As well as the hand-made wooden children s kitchen, the playhouse has a bell tower and a veranda with a wooden bench. Only natural materials have been used, for instance Swiss stone pine wood for the hand-planed accessories. The youngest guests (1 to 3 years old) can play at the cosy créche which is opened daily from to p.m. and teenagers can look forward to an exciting youth program. Stanglwirt App as your holiday companion With the Stanglwirt App guests have an E-Butler on their Smartphone or tablet PC. The App contents are updated daily, which means that a guest has all the latest important information in their hands for planning their holiday, for instance a programme of holiday events, layout plans, opening hours and menus. The App also optimises dialogue between guests and their direct contact partners in the Stanglwirt.
