Mount Merapi Volcano Hiking Overview: Mount Merapi Gunung Merapi (literally Fire Mountain in Indonesian/Javanese), is an active stratovolcano located on the border between Central Java and Yogyakarta, Indonesia. It is the most active volcano in Indonesia and has erupted regularly since It is located approximately 28 kilometres (17 mi) north of Yogyakarta city, and thousands of people live on the flanks of the volcano, with villages as high as 1,700 metres (5,600 ft) above sea level. Mount Bromo Volcano Hiking Overview: Mount Bromo in the eastern part of Java isn't the tallest of Indonesia's active volcanoes, but it is certainly the most visited. 2 Mount Raung is one of the most active volcanoes on the island of Java in Indonesia. It is located in the province of East Java and has a 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) wide caldera surrounded by a grayish rim. The difference in color of the rim and the flanks of the volcanoes is caused by the rim s lack of vegetation compared with the healthy and extensive vegetation on the flanks. Raung, standing almost 3,332 metres (10,932 ft) above sea level, is the tallest volcano of this cluster. Although the valleys between the major volcanoes boast fertile, ash-enriched soil for agriculture, available land is very limited. Raung contains centres constructed along a NE to SW line, with Gunung Suket and Gunung Gadung stratovolcanoes being located to the northeast and west, respectively. Mount Raung is a unique and big mountain in Java Island. Its uniqueness is found in its kaldera whose depth is 500, which is surrounded by many small peaks which give us enchanting scenery. Mount Arjuno Welirang Volcano Hiking Overview: Mount Arjuno - Welirang Trekking is Climbs two mountain side by side. Volcano Hiking Itinerary: Day 1: Jogjakarta Airport - Borobudur - Selo Base Camp Arrived in Jogjakarta airport and meeting service with our guide then directly transfer to your Jogja hotel for check in and deposit laggguage then drive to Borobudur, sightsee borobudur, pawon temple and mendut, back to jogjakarta hotel. For resting before the trek begin. By 10pm, we will pick you up and drive to selo village (base camp) and prepare all things including short briefing from local guide before trekking. 1am the trek is starting. Note: we suggest you to arrive in Jogjakarta on the day. You have enough time a having a rest. Meals: None Accommodation: Grage Hotel*** Day 2: Mount Merapi Trekking(2,930 m) Jogja Hotel Reaching the Merapi summit called PUNCAK GARUDA before the sun is raised in the east, enjoy the sunrise and surrounding view while having breakfast. After good enough time on Merapi summit, we descend down the active volcano, back to base camp, arrived by 11am,

5 short break then drive back to Jogja to your hotel. Free time at your own leisure. Dinner personal account Meals: Breakfast, Lunch Accommodation: Grage hotel/similar Day 3: Jogjakarta Hotel - Mount Lawu Sightseeing - Mount Bromo Breakfast at hotel, check-out then drive to Mount Lawu in between Centra Java and East Java border. (if weather permitted) Arrived at Cemoro Kandang Base camp 1335Masl at Mount Lawu slopes, enjoy the good fresh weather temperature on mount Lawu slopes, afterwards, driving to Bromo, arrived in the late afternoon. Check in and resting. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Yoschi Bungalow with hot shower Day 4: Bromo tour - Mount Raung Hike (3,332 m) Morning call about 3am, leave hotel after enjoying hot coffee /tea to Penanjakan Hill with our Jeep to enjoy the glorious sunrise and The amazing Tengger mount, to make your desire of Bromo we walk down to sea sand to see the mount closer. Back to hotel at 7am, breakfast, shower, checked out by 8am and drive for 3hrs to Sumber Waringin village on the mount raung slopes, arrived by 11am then ready to hike for 7hrs to the 3rd post, Tonyok post for staying overnight. Enjoy the evening on the mountain and sleep early for next morning wake up at

6 4am First post "Montor Post" to Second Post "Sumur Post" 3-4 hrs - Second Post "Sumur Post" to 3rd Post "Tonyok post" 3-4 hrs. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Tent Day 5: Explore The Summit mount Raung Sumber Waringin - Prigen Early morning trekking to summit region of Raung and explore the Summit and see the Big Crater with still smoke going up(2 km width with a depth of 500 m). You can see (if weather is clear) Ijen and Bali island from top of mount raung. The morning views along this region are so beautiful with some panoramic view and lots of vegetation. Then hike back to village for 6 hrs, Lunch enroute. By 3pm arrived in the village/base camp and drive to Prigen Pasuruan for 6hrs. stay overnight at hotel. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Kaliandra Hotel (due to all rooms served by hotel are in twin, so you will have twin room here) Day 6: Prigen - Arjuno Summit (3,339 m) Breakfast, 9am morning starting trekking to Mount Arjuno about 6hrs,

7 arrived at camp site, resting and stay overnight in base camp. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Tent Day 7: Mount Arjuno - Mount Welirang (3,166 m) Breakfast on Arjuno base camp, enjoy top summit of Arjuno then walking down to Mount welirang. They are located in a 6 km line between Arjuno and Welirang. Arrived at Welirang, enjoy the view of welirang. Stay overnight at camp site. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Accommodation: Tent Note: Arjuno and Welirang form a twin volcano near East Java's capital Surabaya. Welirang is famous for its sulphur deposits on one of its summit craters that are being quarried still using Medieval methods. The name Arjuno is Javanese rendition of Arjuna, a hero in Mahabharata epic, while Welirang is Javanese word for sulfur. Day 8: Mount Welirang - Surabaya - Your Own Time/Arrangement. Breakfast, enjoy the welirang then we will going down using different route direct to Lawang, this route we will across lali jiwo forest then
